I’m surprised Jay hasn’t reviewed a Ducati Monster yet
Bullettube (20 days ago)
I had one of those 450 single scrambler with the yellow/chrome tank. It was nice to ride until the head light fell off and pulled all the wiring out while on the Brooklyn Exway at night. Instead of stranded wire with push/pull connectors, they used solid copper wiring, and junctions in the head light with screws, and oh cripe, no color coded wires. Anyway, I got it working again, used lock-tite on all the bolts and eventually made the bike into a decent ride. The Italians made such great looking bikes back then but their manufacturing expertise was, lets say, lacking?
Super SafariSurfer (21 days ago)
Jay knows more about the bike and Ducati’s history than the other guy; why is the other guy even there?

ONE QUESTION TO ALL THE ENTHUSIASTS!!! WHY DOES DUCATI ONLY MAKE ENGINES WITH V CONFIGURATION AND NOT THE IN LINES????🤔🤔🤔🤔

There’s nothing like the sound of a Ducati dry plate clutch, that’s a DUCATI! For once you’re wrong Jay!!

I feel like you you sell just about any car or motorcycle to Jay. He just loves em so much.
Jool (3 months ago)
I would take off the tank badge - not a fan of the “scrambler” part of it - replace it was a Ducati wing badge - less commercial looking that way i think.

Love this bike
Gary Valentine (3 months ago)
would the scrambler icon be a good starter bike
Jan M (4 months ago)
Hmmm, that bike and me will look good together. Just me and that bike against the road, stupid road.
coolhari2000 (4 months ago)
The DRY clutch was the most unique part of a ducati.
Lavaman3682 (5 months ago)
Thanks for bringing this thing to our attention. I am not a fan of the Scrambler., but this one could change my mind. And as with every cycle review, Leno actually rides so he has lots of insightful things to say....
Michael Hayward (5 months ago)
Italian v twins? The most original and well known? Before Ducati became trendy and fashionable... Two words - Moto Guzzi.
TLY RIDER (5 months ago)
After watching this video I bought my Ducati Scrambler. I love the ride, but I wish Ducati didn't produce that much heat. Other than the heat I also talked about other few issues about the bike on my Channel, check it out if interested!

I would like to know if you can do a review in the Ducati monster 1200. Thanks!

Absolutely stunning machine. Don`t get why all the hate comments. Bunch of sissy whiners. People are full of negativity these days.

How can this be called a 'cafe racer' when it is no more a cafe racer than a Ducati Monster which is generally accepted as NOT a 'cafe racer'?

Our shope and I raced a ducati Scrambler at Ascot 62-63      250.
rocco rostagno (9 months ago)
Ducati needs to make a scrambler with a retuned panigale motor with 140hp and 100ft/pds of torque... Id be first online to buy one...
S Almanza (9 months ago)
Jay, should include the price of the things you review! I always wonder and have to Google msrp
JayJo (10 months ago)
Lose all the cheap tacky plastic and powder coating, put some decent front forks on it, completely redesign that AWFUL looking swing arm and you might have a decent bike... but as it stands... it’s just utter garbage.
Sgtelite (10 months ago)
Jay looks really big on the bike. Would it be good for a guy that's 5'3
Giuseppe Gazzola (10 months ago)
Do not criticize how the Desmo sounds. It's a great sound, it's distinctive, and obv. it has nothing to do with rattling.
TotalDisco (11 months ago)
Anyone know what kind of jacket he's wearing on the bike?
Roxana Craciun (11 months ago)
More bike reviews please Jay!!!!!!!
SMaze17 (11 months ago)
The CEO of the company doesn't even know the exact weight of the bike (379 lbs dry)?? I know he's an executive but jeez, that's embarrassing.
Random One (11 months ago)
Scrambler/cafe? Who the hell comes up with this stuff? It's either a scrambler of a cafe bike, the two are technically soooo diametrically opposed that you can't really have it both ways.
Jarrad DeMaria (11 months ago)
Hey Jay would like to see you do some cool sports tourer like the Multistrada or k1600GT always been curious to see what you think about that style of bike.
MrPopicock (11 months ago)

can i have one with the gear shift on the the right side please i will buy one
hulkhatepunybanner (1 year ago)
I like the floating license plate. But the cowl on all cafe racers should be quick-release and secured it on the fork or tank. Just because you look like a loner doesn't mean you pass up on picking up a cute passenger.
Ho Stevie! (1 year ago)
*Love cafe racers!*

that cafe racer costs 25k $ in Nepal.

Bernard Bernabe (2 months ago)
Jake Woitzel what an idiot man! American Ducati CEO 😂🤣😅
Stefano Torresi (8 months ago)
He's not the CEO of Ducati, just of Ducati North America. The CEO of Ducati is Claudio Domenicali.

21 degree rake angle, think and that thing will pitch over. My Versys has a 25 degree rake with a short wheelbase and you can throw it around like a dirtbike despite weighing 451lbs.

Love that Jay mixes in motorcycle reviews. Although, he's wrong about the dry clutch: the rattle is how you know you're on a Duc!

SV650NYC (1 year ago)
I'm very impressed how Jay was able to expose how the CEO didn't even know the weight of the bike, that it has only one brake disc and only two valves per cylinder. Selling that as a "design feature" is ridiculous at this price. To me Ducati is all about form over function. And don't get me started on dry clutches...
William Wintemberg (1 year ago)
I'm happy to see the Standard Riding Position coming back!
This bike is going to sell.
ScubaShneve (1 year ago)
I don't own a bike, but when I saw this one, it made me want to buy one just so I could look at it every day.

Amazing bike! Love Ducati for creating this one.

trust you Jay, You for got to ask about the owners manual, cool script you did for Riders Digest, Old owners manuals could help you out of a bind. now days, it's all liability and don't touch.see a service tech

The BSA B44 and B50 are the original cafe scramblers, mine has run 30 plus years. The Paul Smart is a well designed retro but these are like my Rotax beemer fugly as hell. Not as nice as my RT 450 either.

Super-cool review, Jay. You have an inviting and friendly way about you. Makes the review a pleasure to watch. I really like the bike. They hit all the right marks. Cheers :-)
aren't most Ducatis considered "L" configuration than "V" twin?

This bike looks really cool its love from the first sight ;) like beautifoul woman ,everything is on good place in good proportion except speedometer on right side i more prefer on center .
Jordan Wolfe (1 year ago)
It's so easy to tell when Jay is excited about something vs...meh..
ripmax333 (1 year ago)
yep you strip all the un-essential and you turn it into a cafe racer, what exactly did they strip on the scrambler? basically nothing and probably they cost more than the basic one. granted they have maybe a better seat.
