Most MYSTERIOUS Sea Monster Carcasses Ever Found!

Check out the most mysterious sea monsters carcasses ever found! From unidentified sea creatures to bizarre ocean animals washed ashore, this top 10 list is shrouded in mystery! Russian Specimen In 2015, the world was once again amazed as a mysterious creature washed up on a Russian beach. A giant sea creature with a bird-like "beak" and fur on its tail sparked controversy in hours! Russian social media went crazy! It was said to be similar to a dolphin but was twice the size of your average human. On top of that, it had fur. Pretty strange since sea creatures are not commonly seen with fur!! Some claim it resembles a Ganges River dolphin, which are normally found in the freshwater regions of India, Pakistan, Nepal and Bangladesh. These dolphins have a small hump instead of a dorsal fin, a brown coloring and the tendency to swim on their sides. But, there is one fact that these theorists are ignoring. Ganges dolphins do not have fur! Oh yeah! Plus, they are much smaller than this mysterious Russian creature. Because of this, these individuals counter back with their suggestion that the creature was simply a washed up llama or other mammal. They say perhaps the beak was actually a snout and the body composition was previously mistaken for a sea creature. To this day, no one knows for sure what it is, and chances are…it’s probably too late now! 8. New Zealand Beast New Zealand hasn’t had just one case of a sea monster carcass shrouded in mystery. Back in 2013, a mysterious thing washed ashore causing insane speculation across the country. The Daily Mail reports that “A YouTube video filmed by Elizabeth Ann on Pukehina Beach shows the half-buried head of a carcass with jagged teeth and gaping jaws”. Only its head and what looks like flippers are visible above the sand. This beast could have been up to 30 feet long!! A marine biologist suggested it was a whale. Other theories ranged from a seal to a crocodile to a dinosaur!! Yes, people say it is some ancient creature that no longer exists! What that creature really was has yet to be determined. 7. Bermuda Blob There is no doubt that Bermuda is full of mysteries. One of these is the appearance of not one…but two mysterious blobs that appeared nearly ten years apart. The Bermuda Blob is the name given to two globsters, or unidentified sea creature carcasses, that washed ashore on Bermuda in 1988 and 1997. The first Bermuda Blob was found by Teddy Tucker, a fisherman and treasure hunter, in Mangrove Bay in May 1988. The man said the blob was about "2½ to 3 feet thick . . . very white and fibrous . . . with five 'arms or legs,' rather like a disfigured star." To further prove its existence, samples of the specimen were gathered and analyzed in 1995. It is believed that these specimens were from a poikilothermic sea creature, either a large teleost or an elasmobranch. Yeah, that really clears it up doesn’t it?? This just means it was a large bony fish, shark or ray. Another suggested that the remains belonged to a whale. The same thing happened in 1997 but it wasn’t analyzed until 2004. Evidence from this sample suggested a whale again. But of course, nothing was ever proven, and science itself leaves this case open, as another one of the ocean’s greatest mysteries. 6. Muriwai Monster Some other very strange things have been popping up on New Zealand beaches after the earthquakes in 2016. The large weird-looking object that looked like it was covered in dreadlocks washed up on Muriwai beach in Auckland. Melissa Doubleday discovered it and thought it was a beached whale. She posted pictures to facebook to get some ideas and people suggested everything from a sea monster with dreadlocks to an alien pod time capsule! The real answer is probably way more boring than this. New Zealand Marine Sciences Society believes it is a piece of driftwood covered in gooseneck barnacles. Gooseneck barnacles are crustaceans that attach themselves to driftwood or rocks, but this is a rather extreme case, wouldn’t you say? They normally use biochemical cement and a peduncle to glue themselves onto objects underwater. They then ride water currents to wave their appendages in order to filter out food particles. Fun fact: Gooseneck barnacles are said to be a delicacy in Spain and Portugal. Now, does this amazing creature really look like a thousand appetizers? Or does it look more like a Rastafarian sea monster? That’s what I thought! Mysterious Creatures That Washed Onto Shore

11:11
The ocean takes up most of the earth’s surface and we’re all aware that lots of the deep sections of the waters have yet to be explored. Because of this, there’s all sorts of stuff out there we humans may know nothing about. So when strange things start appeared beached onto our coasts, what exactly are we supposed to think when even the experts can identify these creatures? Subscribe for weekly wacky videos and learn interesting facts about the world with awesome top 10 lists and other amazing videos. 6. The South Island Squid In 2015, the body of a giant squid washed on the shores of New Zealand’s South Island, and this time, people were more excited than they were frightened. Giant squids appear rarely to humans, so most of what people have to go on usually come as remains that have washed onto shore. This particular specimen measured to 23 feet long, with its tentacles alone about 16.5 feet. While 23 feet sounds like a huge measurement when it comes to a living thing, the largest recorded giant squid measured to 59 feet long, but scientists were still delighted to have the opportunity to examine it. Before it could succumb to the elements, the giant squid’s body was moved to an aquarium where it could then be moved for study. 5. One More British Sea Monster You’ve heard of the Loch Ness Monster and now you’ve even heard of the Roch Ness Monster. Here’s the 3rd sea monster to come from the British Isles, though this one has no clever play on a name. In 2011, photographs of a weird, slithery body of an animal emerged on the internet. The news accompanying the pictures claimed the carcass remained unidentified after it being discovered near the coast of Aberdeen. Margaret Flippence was out walking with her husband when she spotted the carcass first. Experts say the body measures to 30 feet long. But 30 feet of what, exactly? As you can probably guess, some held on tight to the whale theory, probably a pilot whale. 4. The Biggest Catch of the Year Megamouth sharks prove extremely rare for humans to spot, with only 63 sightings of these type of filter feeder ever recorded. Fishermen in the Philippines found this 5 meter long or 16 foot long shark near the waters of the Barangay Marigondon. Though the specimen no longer was alive, its discovery would only help scientists understanding more of the rare species. After locals and fishermen helped bring it closer to the shore, it then went on display at the Albay and Wildlife Center in the Philippines where it can be observed and researched. The first megamouth shark ever documented only got captured 40 years ago. 3. The Earthquake Monster In another part of the Philippines was another globster discovered near Dinagat Island. This one measured to about 20 feet long and weighed over 4,000 pounds. As usual, experts predict the carcass looks like the remains of a whale that’s been decaying for a few weeks. The body appeared slimy and covered in long, white fur. Experts believe the globster came closer to shore due to the 6.7 magnitude earthquake that occurred just a few days prior. 2. Australia’s Giant Pink Blob One of the more strangest shapes a globster ever came in appeared like a huge, pink, and round blob. The blob sat floating in the waters near West Australia when fisherman Mark Watkins spotted it. The sight came accompanied with a strong, unpleasant smell--the first clue indicating it must be rotting biological material. From far away, Watkins thought it looked like a hot air balloon that had fallen from the sky or perhaps even a weird looking boat. But upon closer inspection, he could already tell it was a dead whale. Sharks swarmed the area, with one seemingly having bitten it because it soon burst. As a result, no one else really got a good sight of it. The 50 Foot Hairy Sea Monster In another instance of a hairy blob puzzling those who see it, we move onto the topic of the giant carcass discovered in the waters of Indonesia this past year. The globster appeared hairy and white, measuring to at least 50 feet long. On the shallow waters of Hulung Beach sat this fleshy blob and no one knew what to make of it, though it was apparent it was once a living thing due to the blood flowing into the water. Fisherman at first thought it may be a giant squid due to its long, tentacle-like strands. But according to the Marine and Coastal Resources Management in Indonesia, it looks more like a whale--more specifically a baleen whale as evidenced by its skeleton.

Sea Monster 20-foot-long 'hairy' sea creature in the philippines CAUGHT on Video?

03:09
Sea Monster 20-foot-long 'hairy' sea creature washes up on the sea shore in the Philippines after the earthquake hit the country. Scientists and locals are baffled after a "hairy" sea creature measuring in at almost 20 feet long washed up on a shore in the Philippines this week. Similar unidentified carcasses have been discovered on beaches in the region for years -- but it's still not entirely clear sea creature they might be. Some locals speculate that the sea animal, known by some as a "globster," is a new species scientists have not yet discovered, but experts remain unconvinced of the "new" finding. The head of science and conservation for the animal charity Orca, Lucy Babey, says she's certain the blob is the carcass of a large dead animal.

5 Monsters Caught On Camera & Spotted In Real Life!

05:08
5 Monsters Caught On Tape & Spotted In Real Life! Description: If you believe in monsters you’ll love this video. Whether they’re captured dead or alive, these are five 5 monsters caught on camera & spotted in real life! Let’s begin! 5.) Arizona Winged Monster http://mysteriousuniverse.org/2017/01/giant-winged-humanoid-reported-in-phoenix/ This creature was captured on camera by one Richard Christianson in Phoenix, Arizona. The photo seems to capture a quiet, foggy night on a suburban street with a giant, winged creature standing on a lawn. The creature, which has been compared to the Point Pleasant Mothman, is humanoid with long legs, horns, and large wings that appear almost transparent. Christianson posted the picture on Facebook, asking his friends, “What does this look like to you?” Obvious similarities have been drawn between the creature and angels and demons. 4.) Dead Dragon https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lapN1oOv_yM Dragons are universal symbols and cryptids that cross borders and cultures. This dragon was allegedly captured on a “remote island” by an anonymous American businessman. The dragon, which appears dead, appears to resemble the classic western interpretation of a dragon: a four legged reptile, with large, sharp scales, folded batlike wings, claws, horns, and even some feathers that wave in the ocean breeze. While some have claimed that the video is fake, without the physical body there is no way to prove that claim. This is not the first time that someone has claimed to have found the dead body of a cryptid, and these bodies are typically the only physical evidence of these monsters beyond any damage they leave behind or footage captured. 3.) Homunculus https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HNLPXzlz6-I A homunculus is a classical monster and cryptid that has been known for centuries. The word comes from the Greek for “little man,” and the name comes from the belief that homunculi were fully formed, tiny men that were either the origin of life (kind of like a classical idea of a fetus), or created through alchemy or other witchcraft. This video allegedly captures footage of a homunculus created by a Russian man by injecting human semen into a fertile chicken egg before incubating it for weeks. When the man finally cracks the egg open, it reveals a small creature like that of a human hand, which moves and twitches. It attempts to approach its creator, who kills it by slamming it with a heavy, hardcover book. 2.) Barnacle Sea Monster http://www.earthtouchnews.com/oceans/oceans/bizarre-barnacle-sea-monster-washes-up-on-new-zealand-beach This strange creature washed up on the shores of New Zealand. The long creature has what appears to be a face or snout, and is covered with barnacles and what appears to be dreadlocks. The creature, when found, was believed to be a sea monster. It may have been the Taniwha, a sea monster of Maori, native New Zealand peoples, lore that would drag people beneath the waves to their death. Some so called experts argued that the creature was in fact a piece of driftwood or canoe that had been lodged in the seabed, no video of these experts examining the creature has been released. Barnacles have been known to grow on other sea animals including whales and crabs. 1.) Giant Shark Caught in the Mariana Trench http://www.dailystar.co.uk/news/latest-news/491906/Shark-60-foot-Mariana-Trench-Pacific-Ocean-Suruga-Bay-Japan-Megalodon-Sleeper-Sixgill Reports of large, fish like sea monsters are universal. The most well known may be the legend of Leviathan, an ancient and giant fish or whale that ate the Biblical figure Job. While it was traditionally believed that Leviathan had been a whale, the discovery of the ancient and allegedly extinct shark the Megalodon led people to believe that, perhaps, the inspiration for Leviathan had originally been a giant shark. While Megalodons are believed to be extinct, only 5% of the ocean has been explored, and everyday biologists discover new species of creatures and rediscover extinct species. It is not impossible that an evolutionary throwback to the Megalodon may continue to exist. This giant shark was captured by Japanese marine biologists in 2016. The shark, captured in 2016, is allegedly between 29 and 60 feet long though the close distance between the camera and the shark makes it difficult to be sure. Mysterious giant blob creature : Hairy Beast washes up in the Philippines : Appa : Dinagat Islands

What is this mysterious giant blob creature? Locals baffled after hairy-looking beast washes up in the Philippines A huge, hairy mysterious sea creature has washed up on a beach in the Philippines. Stunned locals have flocked to the beach in Cagdainao, Dinagat Islands to gawp at the monster-like beast and take selfies with it. The huge white hairy beast is thought to have come ashore following a recent earthquake. Several unusual sea creatures have been washing up on the shores of the tropical islands following the deadly quake on Sunday. Images of the creature have since gone viral online, with several people offering up their suggestions as to what the monster could be. Several suggested that the beast could be Appa, a fictional character from the Nickelodeon animated television series Avatar: The Last Airbender. Austin Blanch‏@austinblanch tweeted saying: 'Yhink it's appa. Or a big Shitzu. I could be wrong.' While another Twitter user, J Flow, said: 'It's that creature from The Neverending Story. John Paul Garcia suggested the beast may be similar to a supposed half-whale half-polar bear creature that washed up in Margate, South Africa, on 25 October 1924, which was nicknamed Trunko. 'Globster/Trunko right? Half whale half polar bear?' he said. Globster is the name given to an unidentified organic mass that washes up on the shoreline of an ocean or other body of water. However, the beast is actually a 20 foot long whale carcass, local scientists have said. The body of the whale, which weighs approximately 2,000 kilograms, is believed to have turned white due to an advanced stage of decomposition. The animal is thought to have died approximately two weeks ago, possibly after being hit by a ship. A discovery of unknown sea creature, said to be a Globster or Trunko washes up in Poblacion, Cagdianao, Dinagat Islands on February 22, 2017. Several deep sea creatures washed up on different beaches in the Philippines including a Sunfish, Trunko, and the feared Oarfish or "Messenger of God" which feared a lot of Filipinos of an upcoming major Earthquake. Recently, PHIVOLCS also warned Filipinos that the "BIG ONE" quake might strike anytime. 23 Biggest Deep Sea Mysteries

09:14
Did you know Colossal Squids can grow up to 50 ft in length? From the mysterious Mariana Trench shark to creepy fish that look human, these are the 23 Biggest Deep Sea Mysteries ! #10 … Terrible Claw Lobster -- This tiny creature was discovered in 2007, in the deep ocean off the Philippine coast. Hardly anything is known about them yet, except they have two different sizes of knife and claw. The one longer claw is actually as long as the creature’s body itself. #9 … Angler Fish -- This deep-sea creature is fairly well known for a deep sea denizen. So what’s it’s angle? The fish has an appendage growing out of its forehead that has a light on the tip. It uses this to attract prey, then devours them with its gaping mouth. #8 … Sulfur Lake -- Located on the Pacific Ring of Fire, this lake is notable for two features: It’s actually located underwater and it’s made entirely of molten sulfur. This area is teeming with creatures that seem uniquely designed for this location, like crabs and shrimp. #7 … Vampire Squid -- This bizarre creature doesn’t have fangs but it can put on a light show. It produces its own light through spots on its side and through glowing tentacle tips. When threatened, the Vampire Squid will eject an ink that glows. #6 … Frilled Shark -- Because they’ve been around so long, this animal is sometimes referred to as a living fossil because it’s changed so little over millions of years. Known for a mouth filled with 300 backward-facing, trident-shaped teeth aligned in 25 rows, it can consume prey half as long as its body. It prefers depths around 4200 feet, so it’s rarely seen. But one was captured in Japan in 2007. #5 … Alaskan Whale Deaths -- 30 whales beached themselves on Alaskan shores in 2015, and 29 of them were fin whales. Toxic algae was ruled out as the cause of death, since no other species stranded themselves on shore. Experts believe that all the whales died at the same time, but the mystery of this mass whale death still remains unsolved. A full-fledged investigation is expected to take years to complete. #4 … Milky Seas -- Sailors in the past told stories of encountering “milky, glowing waters”. In 1995, a British merchant ship documented that the waters appeared pale and milky-white. Scientists have determined that the cause of the glow is luminous bacteria. The bacteria starts lighting up in order to attract fish. Once the bacteria is ingested, the bacteria can live inside the animals. #3 … Mariana Trench Mystery Shark -- It’s a misnomer because footage of this shark was actually taken in Suruga (soo-gear-uh) Bay in Japan. And estimates that it measured 60-feet long turned out to be false, as was the notion it could be a Megalodon. It’s thought that this is either a six gill shark, which can grow up to 25 feet … or a Pacific sleeper shark, which can survive at depths as low as 9,000 feet. #2 … Giant Oar fish -- This creature can reach lengths up to 56 feet, and weigh up to 600 pounds. These creatures are largely unknown, but are thought to have been the reason for many sightings of sea serpents. Living in deep waters, Oar fish don’t spend much time on the surface. But in 2013, two of the animals made news when they washed ashore on California beaches. Scientists think that strong currents pushed the fish toward shore and they were battered to death by swells. #1 … Colossal Squids -- They can grow to nearly 50 feet long with 10 arms and eyes over a foot in diameter. These deep sea dwelling creatures are the largest known invertebrate in the world. Not a whole lot is known about them, but evidence suggests they’re loners and eat an enormous quantity of large fish. The largest colossal squid ever captured really lived up to its name: It weighed almost 1,100 pounds and was caught in New Zealand in 2007. Sea creature: Slimy, alien-like giant shipworm discovered in the Philippines - TomoNews

06:38
PHILIPPINES — Scientists have known about the giant shipworm for centuries, but none have seen a living, breathing specimen … until now. Giant shipworms aren’t actually worms, but bivalves like clams and mussels. They live in three-foot-long tubular shells planted in muddy, shallow bays. This unicorn of the mollusk world was recently discovered in the southern part of the Philippines. A local TV segment about the creatures tipped off a team from Northeastern University, who went to a lagoon in Mindanao’s Sultan Kudarat province and managed to collect five live worms. Back in the lab, researchers cut off one end of the shell and shook out the slimy, black baseball-sized mass of flesh. Unlike the common shipworm which feeds on rotting wood, its giant cousin has bacteria in its gills that churn out nutrients from carbon dioxide. It still has digestive organs despite its unique mode of survival, but they’re tiny from lack of use. The team’s findings on the creature were compiled in a study and published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences of the United States of America (PNAS). It’s not clear how many of the weird-looking creatures are left in the wild, so the team is keeping the exact location of the shipworm home a secret. Locals, though, have been harvesting the giant worms for years, eating it as an aphrodisiac, medicine, and just a tasty side dish. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Go to https://www.patreon.com/tomonews and become a Patron now TomoNews is now on Patreon and we've got some cool perks for our hardcore fans. MYSTERY SEA CREATURE

06:46
Watch the raw video on Ryan Carpenters channel. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fWapaYWLvhE Hey guys Bill here. The ocean is filled with all sorts of strange creatures, but just the other day, billschannel viewer Sam O’Neil sent me a video showing something I have never seen or heard of before… It was first posted on the newsflare website and claimed it showed a group of divers swimming with a translucent worm-like sea creature off the coast of Ticao Island in the Philippines. Now what Sam wants to know, is… Is this video for real? Or is yet one more ocean going hoax. Well Sam, why don’t we just dive in and see what we can find out. The first thing I did was go through the video again — The video is 41 seconds long and shows three divers (plus the one with the camera) just treading water around this strange looking tube. The divers hang around for awhile looking at it, then there is a dissolves to another shot of it it where it mysteriously changes color! w I couldn’t find anything about this video on Snopes, or my other myth busting websites, but I did drill down on the description posted on Newsfare. It said “We encountered this translucent "worm" in the Philippines off Ticao Island. Not even the dive master had seen one before, but we later identified it as a colony of tiny animals called tunicates. When they join together like this, they're called a pyrosome.” A pyrosome? What the heck is that? Turns out there really is a sea creature called a pyrosome. it’s a rarely seen, but there are a few photos around. Some people refer to it as the “corn cob jellyfish.” I couldn’t really make sense out of the scientific description of the this mysterious life form, but I did discover the same video was posted on Youtube. But in this case, it was called “Diving with Squid Egg Mass.” Pyrosome? Squid Egg Mass? What the heck is going on here? I’m starting to smell a hoax, aren’t you? The Youtube channel that posted the video belonged to a guy called Ryan Carpenter. Ryan makes it clear in the description that he is the man who recorded the video… So on the hunch, I decided to get in touch with Ryan and see if he was for real… RYAN: I’m the real ryan carpenter and this is a real video. Ryan wasn’t able to show me any I.D. but he did have a well establish Google+ page so I had no reason to not believe him. RYAN: we took a vacation in the philippines and came across this creature. It didn’t scare us but we didn’t know what it was. BILL VO: What he was telling me sounded pretty legit so I asked him if he could clear up a few things for me. BILL SOT: WHY THE PHOTOSHOP LOOK? BILL VO: The other thing about the video that makes me suspicious is that it changes color. RYAN: It floated up toward the surface and changes colors. BILL VO: The last thing I wanted to know was why the description of the creature changed over time. RYAN: That’s the nice thing about the internet. when I didn’t know what it was, I uploaded it and asked what they see. Some people who were scuba divers described it as a pyrosome, but then a PHD said it was a squid egg mass. That PHD candidate turns out to be a marine biologist named Rebecca Helm. Now Rebecca wrote an article of her own Deep Sea News about all this. And in that article, she does a detailed analysis of the video and comes to the conclusion it is a Squid Egg Mass. She wrote she believes it is one of the best videos ever of the phenomena. BILL STAND UP: Okay, well, I guess it’s time to make a decision about this video. But first let’s go over what we have learned so far. Ryan Carpenter is the man who shot the video. There are known creatures that look like what he recorded The creature changed color because it changed depth He changed the description as he learned more about the creature. Okay so based on all the evidence I have gather so far, I am judging the video to be… and you might have guessed already… to be… hold second… REAL! And that my friends brings me to the question of the day. Did Ryan convince you that the video is real? Or do you still think this is a hoax of some kind. let me know what YOUR opinion is in the comment section below.

Sea monster in Dinagat Island, Philippines

01:10
Everyone's intrigued with this mysterious marine creature found in Dinagat Island Philippines. Is it a proof that Sea Monsters exist? Here is some information I gathered in my researched. According to them, sea monsters have been found dead in a form of Globsters; a huge, smelly mass of marine flesh that have been washed ashore. Globster describes as No bone structure, rubbery, extremely tough skin covered with fine hair and No head. Though as often suggested as being unknown, Globsters have been identified as decomposed whale carcasses.
