2017 Latest Oracle 1Z0-060 Exam Practice Questions And Answers

01:21
http://www.passitdump.com/1Z0-060.html Updated and latest Oracle 1Z0-060 exam practice questions and answers, pass Oracle 1Z0-060 exam test quickly and easily at first attempt. Exams: QUESTION 1 What are two benefits of installing Grid Infrastructure software for a stand-alone server before installing and creating an Oracle database? A. Effectively implements role separation B. Enables you to take advantage of Oracle Managed Files. C. Automatically registers the database with Oracle Restart. D. Helps you to easily upgrade the database from a prior release. E. Enables the Installation of Grid Infrastructure files on block or raw devices. Correct Answer: CE Explanation: C: To use Oracle ASM or Oracle Restart, you must first install Oracle Grid Infrastructure for a standalone server before you install and create the database. Otherwise, you must manually register the database with Oracle Restart. E: * Oracle ASM is Oracle's recommended storage management solution that provides an alterna- tive to conventional volume managers, file systems, and raw devices. * The Oracle Grid Infrastructure for a standalone server provides the infrastructure to include your single-instance database in an enterprise grid architecture. Oracle Database 12c combines these infrastructure products into one software installation called the Oracle Grid Infrastructure home. On a single-instance database, the Oracle Grid Infrastructure home includes Oracle Restart and Oracle Automatic Storage Management (Oracle ASM) software. Reference: Oracle Grid Infrastructure for a Standalone Server, Oracle Database, Installation Guide, 12c QUESTION 2 Identify two correct statements about multitenant architectures. A. Multitenant architecture can be deployed only in a Real Application Clusters (RAC) configuration. B. Multiple pluggable databases (PDBs) share certain multitenant container database (CDB) resources. C. Multiple CDBs share certain PDB resources. D. Multiple non-RAC CDB instances can mount the same PDB as long as they are on the same server. E. Patches are always applied at the CDB level. F. A PDB can have a private undo tablespace. Correct Answer: BE Explanation: B: Using 12c Resource manager you will be able control CPU, Exadata I/O, sessions and parallel servers. A new 12c CDB Resource Manager Plan will use socalled "Shares" (resource allocations) to specify how CPU is distributed between PDBs. A CDB Resource Manager Plan also can use "utilization limits" to limit the CPU usage for a PDB. With a default directive, you do not need to modify the resource plan for each PDB plug and unplug. E: New paradigms for rapid patching and upgrades. The investment of time and effort to patch one multitenant container database results in patching all of its many pluggable databases. To patch a single pluggable database, you simply unplug/plug to a multitenant container database at a different Oracle Database software version. Reference: http://www.certkings.com/latest-emc-e20-690-pdf/ Incorrect: Not A: * The Oracle RAC documentation describes special considerations for a CDB in an Oracle RAC environment. * Oracle Multitenant is a new option for Oracle Database 12c Enterprise Edition that helps customers reduce IT costs by simplifying consolidation, provisioning, upgrades, and more. It is supported by a new architecture that allows a container database to hold many pluggable databases. And it fully complements other options, including Oracle Real Application Clusters and Oracle Active Data Guard. An existing database can be simply adopted, with no change, as a pluggable database; and no changes are needed in the other tiers of the application. Not D: You can unplug a PDB from one CDB and plug it into a different CDB without altering your schemas or applications. A PDB can be plugged into only one CDB at a time. not F: * UNDO tablespace can NOT be local and stays on the CDB level. * Redo and undo go hand in hand, and so the CDB as a whole has a single undo tablespace per RAC instance. Network Virtualization Using Crossbow Technology

44:03
Uros Nedic describes Solaris Project Crossbow, tools for deploying network virtualization and effectively controlling virtual network environments from the perspective of network capacities. "This technology effectively controls how an application accesses the network and determines how much bandwidth it can use. It can also be used to dynamically allocate bandwidth resources, allowing underutilized bandwidth to be given to applications that need it. "This is done by creating Virtual Network Interface Cards (VNICs) and dedicating each of them to the different applications we want to deploy. "In this presentation we'll show how Crossbow technology works in practice."

An operating system (OS) is a collection of software that manages computer hardware resources and provides common services for computer programs. The operating system is an essential component of the system software in a computer system. Application programs usually require an operating system to function. Mac OS,mac os x mavericks, mac os x,mac os,mac os x 10.7,mac os x 10.6,mac os x 10.6.8,mac os x 10.8,mac os x 10.5.8,mac os x screenshot, mac os x lion, Mac OS X snow leopard, mac os x snow leopard, mac os x snow leopard download, mac os x snow leopard free, mac os x snow leopard cannot be installed on this computer, mac os x snow leopard iso,mac os x snow leopard free download, mac os x snow leopard 10.6.8,mac os x snow leopard 10.6,mac os x snow leopard requirements, mac os x snow leopard 10.6.3 Time-sharing operating systems schedule tasks for efficient use of the system and may also include accounting software for cost allocation of processor time, mass storage, printing, and other resources. For hardware functions such as input and output and memory allocation, the operating system acts as an intermediary between programs and the computer hardware,[1][2] although the application code is usually executed directly by the hardware and will frequently make a system call to an OS function or be interrupted by it. Operating systems can be found on almost any device that contains a computer—from cellular phones and video game consoles to supercomputers and web servers. Examples of popular modern operating systems include Android, BSD, iOS, Linux, OS X, QNX, Microsoft Windows, Windows Phone, and IBM z/OS. All these, except Windows, Windows Phone and z/OS, share roots in UNIX.

VMworld 2015 Europe: VAPP5165 - Extreme Performance Series Monster VM Database Performance

57:11
Mission-critical applications represent the last hurdle to organizations looking to migrate their data centers to the cloud. Although IT administrators realize the benefits of virtualization, they may be hesitant to virtualize applications such as databases because of their resource demands and an inexplicable fear about the underlying hypervisor preventing the infrastructure from meeting the SLAs of these applications. VMware vSphere, the industry's leading hypervisor platform, has been pushing the boundaries of infrastructure resources it can manage over various releases. Through its superior resource management capabilities, vSphere can easily scale horizontally to support many virtual machines (VMs) or vertically to support large VMs. vSphere 6 introduces the ability to run virtual machines with up to 128 virtual CPUs (vCPUs) and 4TB of RAM, allowing extreme resource-hungry applications such as databases to be run in VMs. In this talk, the speakers will give an overview of key vSphere features such as CPU and NUMA schedulers, and memory managers that propel monster VMs. The speakers will share their benchmark results, experience gained, and lessons learned. A deep dive into Oracle and SQL Server scalability on vSphere 6 on a large, multi-core physical host (4 CPU, 1 TB RAM) will be presented. Finally, the speakers will provide best practices to the audience for undertaking such an exercise. This talk should alleviate any hesitation to migrate resource hungry, mission critical database applications to a private cloud.
