My Partner Is Going Through A Midlife Crisis: What Should I Do?
My Partner Is Going Through A Midlife Crisis: What Should I Do? Dealing with a partner that is unhappy is the issue at the root of most breakups, and I can tell you how many times I’ve had clients call me and say my partner is going through a midlife crisis. When someone you love is depressed or struggling with existential issues the tendency is to try to take it upon yourself to try to fix their issues… to make their problem your own and to try to solve these issues for the one you love. But that usually backfires, because one cannot force another person to change…especially if they aren’t ready. The key therefore is to support them based on what they feel they need and to show care and compassion rather than to try to be their shrink. = = = Our Mission is to help people find happiness in love, and to provide individuals and couples with the communication tools and relevant techniques to be together in healthy sustainable relationships. Over the years we have helped people in all types of breakups successfully get back together, and I highly encourage you to look into out how we’ve been so successful… - When The One You Love Is Already Dating Someone Else (It’s Still Possible To Get Back Together): https://www.withmyexagain.com/someone-else-private-page/ - If You Are Coming Out Of A Short Term Relationships (Dated 1 Year Or Less): https://www.withmyexagain.com/short-term-private-page/ - To Discover Our Radio Silence Technique (No Contact That Actually Works) : https://www.withmyexagain.com/radio-silence-private-page/ - And Why Writing The Perfect Handwritten Letter Could Be The Way To Get Back Together Quickly: https://www.withmyexagain.com/letter-private-page/ Our experts have also created a results focused 10 step plan to get back with your significant other quickly if you were together for a long time (Or If you were married or engaged): - How To Get Him Back: https://www.withmyexagain.com/product/how-to-get-him-back/ - How To Get Her Back: https://www.withmyexagain.com/product/how-to-get-her-back/ We also offer one on one Private Coaching Sessions for individuals who are interested in speeding up the process of breakup recovery and get back together with the person they love quickly by letting our experts do the work: - Private Coaching Sessions With Our Experts: https://www.withmyexagain.com/coaching/ It would truly be our pleasure to help you be and with the one you love, as always keep fighting the good fight and I wish you all the very best. Mid Life Crisis In Men - Something every man should know about themselves
Mid life crisis in men occurs more than you think. Everyday men are looking at their life and wondering, what am I doing. I'm working my butt off just to pay bills and, answering to a boss who doesn't appreciate me, have to deal with traffic, working weekends, listening to people I don't like, I'm done!!! I'm ready to change my life. http://www.workwithjimandlisa.com - Mid Life Crisis In Men We see this all the time, midlife crisis in men that is. Men are creatures of habit and become very complaisant, uncomfortably comfortable and then one day, BAM, it hits the between the eyes. They realize they are really have a midlife crisis. It's usually a matter of time when this happens but when it does, watch out. Change is coming and it's going to be epic. Mid life crisis in men has become an epidemic. We used to think we were so secure when we started out in our 20's and no one could tell us what to do because this is what I chose and I'm going to do it till I retire. Wow... was I wrong. Now I'm mature enough to say ok, I'm not to proud. I'm going to start a new career because it's what I want, not someone else. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9eEzoaQWfnY

His research has been published and featured in national and international medical and science journals. During more than twenty-years in the medical field, Dr. Schaub became increasingly fascinated by the powerful influence of our thoughts, emotions, and beliefs on health and disease. He recognized that our abundant self-healing abilities can only function effectively when mind, body, and spirit are in alignment, and that the mind-body-spirit connection – in particular the subconscious mind – holds the keys to accelerated healing, well-being, and success. Realizing this enormous potential, he extensively studied mind-activating modalities and became a certified master practitioner in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) and Time Line Therapy TM. He is also an American Board of Hypnotherapy (ABH)–certified trainer of clinical hypnotherapy. Based on this wealth of knowledge and experience, Dr. Schaub created a personal breakthrough and empowerment program specifically designed to eliminate emotional and mental blocks and limitations that prevent us from fully activating our potential to heal, change and succeed. He has helped thousands of people all over the world overcome fear and anxiety to lead confident, authentic and successful lives.

Men in Midlife Crisis
In this video, Dr. James Dobson discusses the very real condition of "men in midlife crisis."
Conquer Andropause with These 5 Steps
Don't Let Age Stand In Your Way Of Getting In Shape: http://go.sixpackshortcuts.com/testmf4c2 What's going on, guys? Clark Bartram here today to go over an all-too-common topic men over 40 have to deal with when aging - a "midlife crisis." Actually, like women who go through menopause, a man's midlife crisis is known as andropause. Andropause is the opposite of puberty where your hormones begin to decline. If not handled with care, this can end up rendering you half the man you used to be by the time you are in your 50's. What can happen a lot of the time is andropause being misdiagnosed as depression. Doctors will call it depression and put someone on some form of psycho medication that completely shuts down your hormone system. NOTE: I am NOT a doctor, and this is a warning to you out there. Consult with your doctor or physician before making any changes to medications, supplements, or your diet to ensure you are also safe and healthy. Now, let me break down how to get through andropause: 3:23 Step #1 - Evaluate and Adjust Your Diet: This is the #1 thing that can help you get over andropause. Since the onset of andropause has everything to do with hormonal imbalances and your test levels being in decline, the all-natural approach to fixing it is through diet versus using things like drugs, creams, or injections. I always say, "let your food be your medicine, and your medicine be your food." Food is enjoyable, food is healing, and food can be good for you if you know what you're eating. Red meat, for example, is something you can keep in your diet so long as it is high-quality, all-natural, and grass-fed instead of processed, genetically-modified options. Healthy fats are your friend as well, seeing as they are needed in the production of test. And keep your nutrition in balance - eating soy can be estrogenic for you so to counter that make sure you eat to boost your test levels. 6:26 Step #2 - Exercise: This is the second easiest way for men to boost test levels, manage stress levels, and improve overall health. Now, don't just hop on a treadmill for 30+ minutes at a time, because that will not be as effective for you as doing compound, multi-joint muscle movements. These kinds of movements engage multiple, big muscle groups to work together and train most to the entire body instead of isolating every single muscle group. 9:28 Step #3 - Manage Your Stress: Now, this isn't fighting, avoiding, or overcoming stress. Healthy management of stress does leaps and bounds more for you to help control your hormonal health to better fight andropause. This is because stress releases the hormone cortisol. Cortisol causes the body to hold on and keep unwanted, excess body fat and will be a detriment to your t-levels. 11:26 Step #4 - Get More Sleep: Sleep is vital to being able to manage stress, help improve your male hormone health, and absorb nutrients from good foods that you should be eating. There is something called a "circadian rhythm" that has to do with your body and how it sleeps. Things like stimulants, seasonal changes, and time zone change all affect this very important rhythm. Long story short - if you're tired, sleep. It's really that simple because fighting your body's urge to rest and relax can put a damper on your hormone health. 12:39 Step #5 - Don't Mistake Andropause for Depression: Andropause is a natural process in life and you have to accept it. Now, the tips I gave you are all the ways you can start naturally helping yourself to make this process go by a lot more smoothly. It's something that, no matter what, you will have to endure... How you decide to handle it and make things easier for yourself is up to you. What have you been doing to combat andropause? Have you been going about it all wrong? Still not sure what else you can do to help break through a midlife crisis? Let us know in the comments below what's going on. And don't forget - Like, Share, and Subscribe to the channel. We'll see you next time. Make It A Great Day, -Clark Bartram Don't Let Age Determine The Body You Deserve: http://go.sixpackshortcuts.com/testmf4c2 P.S. How to deal with mid life crisis?
What is mid life crisis? and how to deal with it? - watch this short video to get more insights! Sri Sri Ravi Shankar founded The Art of Living as an international, non-profit, educational and humanitarian organization in 1982. Its educational and self-development programs offer powerful tools to eliminate stress and foster a sense of well-being through powerful breathing techniques such as Sudarshan Kriya and Yoga. Appealing not only to a specific population, these practices have proven effective globally at all levels of society. What is Yoga? The secret to health and happiness lies deep within every human. Yoga is the science of discovering one's own self - the very source of pure consciousness, peace and bliss. Everyone knows that we don't feel good and we get stressed when there is disharmony in our lives, when our bodies are tired and our busy minds constantly chatter and judge. Through the discipline of Yoga we become more aware of ourselves by doing simple postures, breathing techniques, meditation, and relaxation to rejuvenate the body and quite the mind. It is in this manner that we cultivate harmony in ourselves. What is Meditation? Settling the surface mind is meditation. Living in the present is meditation. Relaxing deeply is meditation. When you are really happy, reposing in love, you are meditating. Meditation is that space when the thoughts have subsided, and the mind is in complete rest. What is Sudarshan Kriya? Sudarshan Kriya incorporates specific natural rhythms of the breath which harmonize the body, mind and emotions. This unique breathing technique eliminates stress, fatigue and negative emotions such as anger, frustration and depression, leaving you calm yet energized, focused & yet relaxed. It increases energy, improves intuition and makes you innovative. Millions around the world have done this unique practice and have reported better quality of life. But I’ll bet you’ve never heard of a crisis you may be facing in a few short years. I call it “the quarter life crisis.” I know a little something about it, because I went through it. Oh, boy – did I go through it! When I was 24, a lot was going my way – at least, on the surface. I had great friends. I had a great job on Capitol Hill. I even had a great apartment. So, why didn’t I feel great about my life? I was working as a press secretary for a congressman. I should have been happy about that. But instead, I just felt…trapped – anxious and uncertain about my future. Where was I going? What was my next move? On the personal side, things weren’t much better. I hadn’t had a boyfriend in years, and there were no prospects on the horizon. Marriage seemed like an impossible dream. I loved my friends, but I still felt lonely. Right before my twenty-fifth birthday, I took a personal inventory (I love lists). It felt like I was falling short… almost everywhere. I missed my college days, which seemed, in retrospect, so carefree. The future just looked boring and hard. That is what you call a quarter-life crisis. And I’d like to help you avoid it. To that end, I bring you three pieces of advice. One: Get out of town. Feeling trapped? One of the best ways to set yourself free is to move – literally. After years of structure – high school, college, right into a career – I longed to be free. I wanted to be able to leave town at a moment’s notice. So I stopped accumulating stuff. I only had one cup, one glass, one plate, one bowl, and one set of silverware. It was one of the best things I did for myself. It allowed me to be nimble in my life and my career. Assuming for a moment you’re not married (if you are, congratulations!), you’re pretty much accountable to no one. That will change. Take advantage of your mobility while you have it. Go where the opportunities are. But more than that, just go! That might mean going somewhere for a better job, or it might mean traveling whenever you get the chance. It’s a big country and a big world. There’s no reason to be stuck in one place, especially if that one place isn’t working for you. Two: You’re not going to become a ballerina at 25. You’re still young, but you’re not as young as you used to be. You don’t have unlimited potential anymore. The last time you had unlimited potential, you were nine. At this point, you’re pretty well formed – what you’re good at, what you’re really bad at, what you like and don’t like. I’m not saying you can’t change, that you can’t grow. Of course you can – and must; but you are who you are, and you need to figure out who that is. To put it another way, what is it that you want out of your life? You need to make a realistic assessment of your strengths and weaknesses. Again, lists. This will help you take the next step in the process: setting a goal. Okay, ballerina – not practical. What is? Be honest. Figure it out. Write it down. Then, as one of my mentors told me before my first White House press conference, “Put your big girl panties on, and deal with it.” For the complete script, visit https://www.prageru.com/videos/whats-quarter-life-crisis

How to Deal with a Midlife Crisis
Watch more Mental Health videos: http://www.howcast.com/videos/239629-How-to-Deal-with-a-Midlife-Crisis Entering middle age can lead to restlessness and boredom. Here's how to make the best of your midlife malaise, no bright-red sports car required. Warning Seek help from a counselor or therapist if you are exhibiting signs of serious depression. Step 1: Acknowledge your issues If you're having problems with your career or relationships, don't sweep them under the rug. Acknowledge what's bothering you so you can deal with a crisis before it becomes a catastrophe. Step 2: Reinvigorate your relationships Reinvigorate your relationships by spending more time with your significant other, children, and friends, and less time at work. The transition into midlife can provide a great opportunity to reflect on what's really important. Tip Don't do anything rash, like leaping into an extramarital affair or buying an expensive new car. Impulsive actions may make you feel better in the short term, but they won't address any of the causes of your crisis. Step 3: Exercise Eat well and exercise to combat the health concerns that often go along with getting older. Join a gym, practice yoga, or take up a new sport. A regular fitness regimen will keep you energized, feeling good about your body, and ready to tackle this next phase in life. Step 4: Get spiritual Get in touch with your spiritual side, whether it's practicing your religious faith, communing with nature, indulging your inner artist, or volunteering in your community. In a time when you may be searching for meaning in your life, these endeavors will provide some answers. Step 5: Try new things Channel your restlessness into productivity. Take a class, go back to school, try new foods, read books you normally wouldn't touch, or plan a trip. Midlife can be a tremendous time for personal growth. Step 6: Stay positive Stay positive and focus on your strengths. As midlife approaches, feelings of regret and failure are not uncommon. Instead of reliving past disappointments, draw on your successes to lead you forward. You've got the best years of your life ahead of you. Did You Know? A study found that women are twice as likely as men to feel optimistic about the future at middle age.

Light a spark: navigating the mid-life malaise | Patricia Katz | TEDxSaskatoon
At some point in mid life many people find themselves suffering from malaise - an unfocused feeling of discontent, a vague uneasiness, a sense that there might be or must be something more. They feel restless, uninspired, stuck or stale - cruising on autopilot, going through the motions. Instead of resisting or ignoring this state, how do you embrace mid life malaise and use it as a jumping off point for exploring what comes next? How do you elevate your everyday experience in ways that connect you to greater satisfaction, joy, and delight? How do you do this in ways that don't scuttle or destroy those things that may well be ‘right’ in your world? This talk will deliver practical strategies and real-life examples designed to light a spark and point the way. Spokesperson for a Better Way | Patricia Katz, of Optimus Consulting, is a noticer, an appreciative adventurer, and a spokesperson for a better way to a better world. She finds joy in helping people get a sense of how things could be and encouraging them to take those first steps in more positive directions. Pat believes people should raise their sights and spirits as they encounter the doldrums of mid-to-late life. She wants others to understand that fresh challenges and new ventures continue to be important as we age, that coasting to the finish line is not your only option. Pat has inspired tens of thousands of people to accomplish what matters most that brings peace of mind. She is the bestselling author of six books, a certified human resource professional, and an inductee of the Canadian Speaking Hall of Fame. Pat is also an accomplished watercolor artist, a wife of over 40 years, a mom of two grown daughters, and grandmother to two young boys. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at http://ted.com/tedx

What is a Midlife Crisis by Dr. Tracie O'Keefe DCH, BHSc, ND
What is a Midlife Crisis? by Dr. Tracie O'Keefe DCH, BHSc, ND Clinical Hypnotherapist, Pyschotherapist/Counsellor, Trauma Specialist http://tracieokeefe.com/2013/12/signs-that-you-are-suffering-from-a-crisis-video/ Midlife crisis is a common thing being talked about. People may say that to other people in jest but reality, many people do have midlife crises. Usually people in their 40's or 50's, and women who are finished menstruating or in their perimenopausal, the hormones are changing incredibly. And men, as they grow old, their hormones change slower but men do also have a midlife crisis at times especially when they look back in their lives and they want to change something in the past. Some people may ask about if their lives may have meaning at all; they begin to traumatically question themselves about their worth. Sometimes people who are in midlife crisis make huge life changes, and they may leave relationships that they are involved in, or they may change the dynamics in their relationships. So, midlife crisis (if you are having one) is a juncture between the life you had and the life you are working out how to have in the future. It is a questioning time; and with some help, some psychotherapeutic help, you can reflect on your life. Look at the possibilities and think how you may move forward positively with the people you love around you. Visit us now at http://tracieokeefe.com/contact/
