Melomel! Making Cherry Chocolate Mead. A Mead as you probably know is a honey wine, made with honey, water and yeast. Well, if you add fruit to it, it becomes a melomel. This video is special for a few reasons. 1) We're using the Best Cherry Juice in the World! https://tabletreejuice.com/ 2) We're using the Best Honey in the World! https://treasurestatehoney.com/ 3) This is CitySteading's 1 Year Anniversary! They gave us a lot of information and while we couldn't share it all in the video, here it is! TableTree Juice: https://tabletreejuice.com/ TABLETREE INFORMATION Tabletree Montana is a juice processor located along the shores of Flathead Lake in NW Montana producing delicious, nutritious juice from fresh fruit. We won a World Juice Award! Tabletree Cherry Juice was named "Best Pure Juice" at the World Juice Awards in Barcelona, Spain. (Our apple juice won 2nd place for “Best New Juice” the following year at the World Juice Awards held in Cologne, Germany.) There is a very small bit of honey and cinnamon in our juice that act as the natural preservatives and Treasure State Honey from Fort Shaw, Montana won the “Worlds Best Honey” award at the World Honey Conference - Apimondia, in Istanbul, Turkey in 2017. Two world’s best’s meet in Montana. Our juice is truly a craft juice made using our proprietary extraction process. There is one pound of cherries in every 8.5 ounce bottle and 3 pounds of fruit in our 25.4 ounce bottles. We are distributed in the Western U.S. and Canada. Tabletree, moved from Canada to the shores of Flathead Lake in NW Montana at the request of the Flathead Lake Cherry Growers Association to produce their world award winning juice from Flathead Lake Cherries. Tabletree Cherry Juice is a true multi-use juice as a stand-alone beverage, a mix for wine, beer, or spirits, in cooking – anywhere in the meal from salad to center of the plate to dessert. It is a great addition to tea (hot and cold), lemonade, soft drinks, sparkling water, etc. Chefs and caterers are now incorporating our unique, products into their menu choices and our cherry juice is used in many high-end restaurants and bars both in their food and drink and dessert menus. Our products have been chosen to be in several chef competitions. We also have a 76 page Tabletree Cherry Recipe Book that has become quite popular. Our cherry juice is an amazing anti-inflammatory as well. Many sports teams use cherry juice for their sports injury recovery. The Edmonton Eskimos of the Canadian Football League used our juice. We have many people that buy it by the case to use an ounce a day for their gout, arthritis and other inflammatory based pain. Tabletree juices are pasteurized, bottled in glass, are shelf stable well in excess of three years, and do not require refrigerated storage. To make a long story even longer and to sum it up….. From a salad, to center of plate, to dessert and beverages, Tabletree Cherry Juice is a fun product to cook with or enjoy all by itself as it tastes like biting into a fresh cherry. Tabletree is pure juice, with no preservatives, no chemical preservatives, never from frozen or from concentrate and made with Montana cherries. The darker the berry, the sweeter the juice” and research shows cherries are also high in anthocyanins and bioflavonoids, substances related to reducing joint and muscle discomfort. Who wouldn't want less soreness after working out or sports, a few less sick days, and reduced aches and pains. And the cool thing is..... it's just food. Our juices have a simple ingredients list that everyone knows and with the possible exception of cinnamon, can spell. Tabletree Montana LLC 23212 Montana Hwy 35

How to Make Mead - Apple Cider Mead - Cyser

10:58
How to Make Mead - Apple Cider Mead - Cyser. Today we're showing you how to make mead, more accurately, cyser. Mead is made from honey and water, while cyser is apple juice (cider to us Americans) and honey. Technically that makes it a melomel, which is any mead with added fruit, but... let's be honest, there are dozens of types of mead. This is actually a really simple recipe, all you need is honey, apple juice and yeast. Get apple juice that has no preservatives and I try for the bottle with the least ingredients, today's juice said, "Ingredients: Apple Juice", that works for me. I also used a local wildflower honey. Sure, some will say various flavors of honey will affect the final product, and they are right, but, so will apple juice. Make sure to use quality ingredients and get a good yeast. I used Danstar Belle Saison for this, but Safale S04 is good too. To learn more, see our website at http://www.city-steading.com Recipe: 2 lbs of warmed honey 1 gallon of apple juice (roughly) 1/2 t yeast 1 t yeast nutrient Hydrate yest with some apple juice in a separate container. Set aside. Mix juice and honey in a sanitized carboy after adding all the honey and enough juice to fill the vessel half way. This step is important to incorporate all the honey before the carboy is too full to mix. Fill with the rest of the juice to about whee the jug starts to curve to leave head space. Add hydrated yeast and yeast nutrient to the carboy. Fill airlock as indicated with sanitized water and close the carboy. Watch airlock for activity and wait for your cyser to ferment. Rack, bottle and enjoy! How to Brew Raspberry Rhubarb (Strawberry) Wine in the Alberta Urban Garden

17:57
This week I show you how I make wine with raspberry rhubarb witch a pinch of strawberries. I am proud to say I grew all of the fruit for this wine! With the exception of some rhubarb my parents grew and brought down! Brewing wine does not have to be complected or expensive. I am so very excited to grow and brew my own fruit! It took awhile for me to collect enough fruit from my garden to produce the wine. I harvested Rhubarb three times this year and raspberries as they became available. I recommend two this about working with Rhubarb. Harvest the canes as early as possible as they will have more sugar in them and only harvest your rhubarb twice during the year. My plant did not produce much of a plant after the third harvest and was susceptible to slugs. While I dont doubt the plant will recover and produce this year it probably wont do as well as if I had left that third harvest on there. Freezing the fruit allows the cells to burst and more juice to be available for the wine. Below is the recipe I used this year. It is important to note that I have scaled everything up based on the volume of fruit I had. Please note cleaning and sterilizing your equipment before use is a KEY in producing a consistent and good product. Rhubarb Wine recipe 2013 19 liters or 5 gallons (approx 30 500ml bottles) 5.66 kg or 12.50 lb Rhubarb (cubed) 19 liters or 5.00 gallons of water 5.66 kg or 12.50 lb White granulated sugar 5.00 ea Campden tablets 5.00 tsp Yeast nutrient 1pk Montrachet wine yeast Starting specific gravity should be 1.090-1.095, Acid .60%. 1. Clean and cut up rhubarb and raspberries and put in freezer bags. Freeze until ready to use for brewing. 2. When ready for brewing place frozen fruit in primary fermenter and weigh. If the fruit weighs more then 5.66kg or 12.5lbs you can either leave it in the batch and split the batch at step 6 or move additional to another primary fermenter and begin a second batch. 3. Pour dry sugar over the frozen fruit. Cover with plastic sheet and allow to stand 24 hours. 4. Add the the water (bottled is my preference over tap water). Add 1-2 Campden tablets per gallon (3.7 Liters). Mix well and wait 24 hours. 5. Add the remaining ingredients including yeast, yeast nutrient ext.. Cover again loosely with a cloth or lid. let stand for 48 hours. 6. Stir and transfer liquid content from primary fermenter to carboy. If splitting the batch attempt to distribute equally. if you have a straining bag using sterile gloved squeeze the bag to allow the remaining fruit juice out. IF you do not a colander and metal bowl can work to complete the same thing. When finished you can top up the carboy if you wish. 7. Seal the carboy with a stopper and blowout tube. It is not recommended with fruit wine to use an airlock. The pulp from the fruit can cause blow outs. Place one end of the blowout tube in a red solo cup half filled with sterilizing agent. The other end in the stoppers hole. 8. Rack the carboy after 3-4 weeks to help clear the batch of sediment. If desired you can rack again after 3 months. 9. When the wine has cleared you can bottled. Prior to bottling you can add campden tablets to stop the yeast however I choose not to. 10. You may sweeten if required. You will want to use the campden tablets prior to adding any additional sugar. You can use white sugar, brown sugar, honey or any product that adds sweetness. 11. Age for 6-9 months following bottling. The flavors will greatly benefit from the aging. if you use corks store bottles on the side to prevent drying out and cracking. Starting My Unit on Solutions | Teacher Life - Episode 13 | MsRazz ChemClass

06:51
Don’t forget to like, comment, and subscribe so you don’t miss future videos! It was my first full week back to school since battling pneumonia. Fortunately I am feeling better, and returned to school with a quite a few fun and engaging activities. We finished our unit on stoichiometry by designing an airbag using knowledge of molar volume and mole conversions. At the end of the week I introduced our new unit, with, you guessed it, a phenomenon! For a different change of pace, I dug out the Mr. Sketch markers and poster paper for a Phenomodeling activity. It was great to see my students relate their prior knowledge and experience to this phenomenon. Finally, on lab day my students participated in an inquiry lab that introduced saturated, unsaturated, and supersaturated solutions. It was a busy week in Ms. Razz's class that is for sure! Thanks so much for watching! Have a great week! How to Brew Pin Cherry Wine in the Alberta Urban Garden

11:22
This week I show you how I make wine with Pin Cherries. Thank you to my Grand Parents who provided the reduction! Brewing wine does not have to be complected or expensive. in order to make the reduction you will want to collect and clean the pin cherries and juice them. Be careful not to use a mechanical juicer as that will break the seed pods releasing a bitter flavor. Once juiced filter the juice. Below is the recipe I used this year. It is important to note that I have scaled everything up based on the volume of fruit I had. Please note cleaning and sterilizing your equipment before use is a KEY in producing a consistent and good product. Pin Cherry recipe 2013 12 liters or 3 gallons (approx 15 500ml bottles) 6 liters or 1.58 gallons of Pin Cherry juice 6 liters or 1.58 gallons water Juice from one can of maraschino cherries 6.o liters or 25 US cups White granulated sugar 2.00 ea Campden tablets 1pk Montrachet wine yeast Starting specific gravity should be 1.090-1.095, Acid .60%. 1. When ready for brewing place frozen fruit juice in primary fermenter and weigh. If the fruit weighs more then 5.66kg or 12.5lbs you can either leave it in the batch and split the batch at step 6 or move additional to another primary fermenter and begin a second batch. 2. Pour dry sugar over the frozen fruit juice. Cover with plastic sheet and allow to stand 24 hours. 3. Add the the water (bottled is my preference over tap water). Add 1-2 Campden tablets per gallon (3.7 Liters). Mix well and wait 24 hours. 4. Add the yeast Cover again loosely with a cloth or lid. let stand for 48 hours. 5. Stir and transfer liquid content from primary fermenter to carboy. If splitting the batch attempt to distribute equally. If there is pulp coming through use a straining bag using sterile gloved squeeze the bag to allow the remaining fruit juice out. IF you do not a colander and metal bowl can work to complete the same thing. When finished you can top up the carboy if you wish. 6. Seal the carboy with a stopper and blowout tube. It is not recommended with fruit wine to use an airlock. The pulp from the fruit can cause blow outs. Place one end of the blowout tube in a red solo cup half filled with sterilizing agent. The other end in the stoppers hole. 7. Rack the carboy after 3-4 weeks to help clear the batch of sediment. If desired you can rack again after 3 months. 8. When the wine has cleared you can bottled. Prior to bottling you can add campden tablets to stop the yeast however I choose not to. 9. You may sweeten if required. This wine should not need additional sweetening as it is a desert wine. You will want to use the campden tablets prior to adding any additional sugar. You can use white sugar, brown sugar, honey or any product that adds sweetness. 10. Age for 6-9 months following bottling. The flavors will greatly benefit from the aging. if you use corks store bottles on the side to prevent drying out and cracking. Red Bull is an energy drink sold by Austrian company Red Bull GmbH, created in 1987. Red Bull has the highest market share of any energy drink in the world. Austrian entrepreneur Dietrich Mateschitz was inspired by an existing energy drink named Krating Daeng, which was first introduced and sold in Thailand by Chaleo Yoovidhya. He took this idea, modified the ingredients to suit the tastes of Westerners, and, in partnership with Chaleo, founded Red Bull GmbH in 1987 in Chakkapong, Thailand. In Thai, daeng means red, and krating is the large bovine called "gaur". The Red Bull company slogan was "Red Bull gives you wings", prior to a class action lawsuit related to the benefits of the drink in 2014. The product is marketed through advertising, events (Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series, Red Bull Air Race, Red Bull Crashed Ice), sports team ownerships (Flying Bulls [actually owned by Dietrich Mateschitz], RB Leipzig, FC Red Bull Salzburg, Red Bull Brasil, New York Red Bulls, Red Bull Racing, Scuderia Toro Rosso), celebrity endorsements, and music, through its record label Red Bull Records.

Mounting The Whitetail Deer - Part 1 Form Prep & Reference

21:00
This video will take you through my methods involved in the mounting of the Whitetail Deer. In the Taxidermy industry in this country, the Whitetail Deer is the "bread and butter" of the Taxidermist. There are many others showing their way of doing what they do, some promote using a certain suppliers' products. These are the methods I've worked at and developed for a little over 50 years ... the methods I employ in my every day work ... and I use products from varied suppliers. So hopefully the viewer will get something out of this video presentation. The video is being divided into several sections, rather than making the viewer sit through a full hour or more of the process. So ... enjoy! How To Make Easy Homemade Wine ~ (Making Blackberry Wine)

11:38
If you've ever wanted to make wine but thought it was too complicated, then you need to watch THIS ! I'm going to show you how I made a batch of easy homemade wine... And... When I say easy... I mean EASY. I even give you a look at the fermentation process a few days later... man... it's percolating ! There is no need for a hydrometer, carboy, fermenting chamber or air lock. Heck, I didn't even need to buy yeast! The fruit has it's own yeast in it naturally, and I'm just using it's natural yeast to ferment. The ingredients are just simply fruit, sugar and water. In this case, I'm making homemade Blackberry Wine, but I could have used this method to make apple, grape, pear, peach, strawberry, muscadine... probably just about any kind of fruit wine. Now, to be sure, I'm not expecting any wine making awards, or Ernest and Julio to hire me any time soon, but it WILL amaze my friends and family. So, check this out... but try this AT YOUR OWN RISK... some have said the bottles could explode ! 2017 Yamaha XSR900 aka TZ900 customized by Jeff Palhegyi Design photos & details

02:53
2017 Yamaha XSR900 aka TZ900 customized by Jeff Palhegyi Design photos & details Project Drew Inspiration from Legendary TZ750 Styling Jeff Palhegyi is no stranger to building cool custom Yamaha motorcycles, having created everything from radical Raider cruisers to an FZ-07 flat tracker and a “TT” SR400. He and his team have been building since 1995, they designed and constructed last year now has a new counterpart in the Yard Built garage: a TZ750 inspired XSR900. Yamaha’s Yard Built Project Yamaha Sport Heritage motorcycles are designed & built with the “Faster Sons” philosophy: “Inspired by the past, built for the future.” Descended from the heritage of motorcycling’s past, today’s “Faster Sons” represent both the motorcycles and the riders who respect iconic Yamaha designs while continuing to push performance forward. In this spirit, Yamaha also established an initiative to support custom bike-building globally. In garages and back yards all over the world, Yamaha owners dream of creating their very own customized motorcycles. Yamaha’s “Yard Built Project” seeks to enable these dreams by asking talented customizers to provide inspirational ideas on how to transform modern Yamaha models into “Yard Built” specials. Many builders will not only inspire Yamaha owners with their ideas, but will also make custom parts and accessories available to help owners turn their dreams into reality. This initiative helped builders from all over the U.S. to deliver stunning interpretations of Yamaha’s Sport Heritage models. These custom builds have included the scrambler styled Bolt from Florida-based builder Greg Hageman of Hageman Cycles, Californian Roland Sands’ multiple Yard Built creations such as the XSR900 “Faster Sons”, and the SCR950 “Checkered Scrambler” from California-based builder Go Takamine of Brat Style. Palhegyi’s TZ750 Inspiration Over the past 21 years, more than 70 custom motorcycles have been built by Jeff since his initial collaboration with Yamaha for a heavily-customized Royal Star in 1995. “Working with Jeff Palhegyi Designs has been an incredible adventure,” said Derek Brooks, Yamaha Motorcycle Product Line Manager. “We’ve covered a lot of ground over the years, and Jeff’s latest project, the TZ750 inspired XSR900, represents our history in the sense that it blends the modern performance and neo-retro look of the XSR with Yamaha’s racing heritage styling.” That racing heritage can clearly been seen in the finished motorcycle. “I wanted to do a retro-styled XSR900 that had the look of the Yamaha factory race bikes from the 70’s and 80’s,” said Jeff Palhegyi. “My inspiration ultimately came from the TZ750.” Elements of the TZ750 body lines are evident throughout the XSR. “The tailpiece is the pivotal shape from Yamaha race bikes from that era, and I just wanted to build a bike that would go with that,” Palhegyi commented. “There are TZ750 styling cues everywhere, as that was the theme of the bike.” Successfully creating and building the styling elements of the TZ750 into the XSR relied heavily on Jeff’s many years of custom bike building expertise. “The bodywork was the biggest challenge for this project, because you can’t just buy a fairing kit that fits an XSR900. We had to build the tail section, the tank cover, the front café fairing and the lower half fairing from scratch while working to keep the TZ750 body style,” said Palhegyi. “The fuel tank design was another very challenging part of building this bike, since it is a cover piece for the actual fuel tank mounted underneath it,” Palhegyi further noted. “We had to make the internal tank fit with the tightly-wrapped aluminum tank cover, and it required careful design and fabrication to make all of the internal components. In addition to the handmade bodywork that consisted of mixed alloy and FRP construction, all created with a unique shape to fit the XSR chassis, the finished Jeff Palhegyi Designs XSR900 includes: • Dymag wheels built for the current Yamaha YZF-R1 (modified axles, custom sprockets and spacers were fabricated by Jeff Palhegyi Designs for proper fitment) • Graves Motorsports titanium exhaust system • Graves Motorsports clip-on handlebars • Sato Racing rear sets • Bridgestone Battlax Racing Street RS10 tires • Mead Speed vintage gas cap and windscreen • Custom seat constructed by Howard McKee • Driven Components final drive chain • Custom paint by Benny Flores Once complete, Palhegyi and his team had achieved their project goal. “Installing the freshly-painted bodywork to complete the bike build was my favorite part of this project,” Palhegyi said. “Putting it together and realizing it was everything I hoped for when I first sketched it on a cocktail napkin made all of our efforts very rewarding.” To see more customs from Jeff Palhegyi Designs, visit: http://www.jpaldesign.com/gallery/ To learn more about the Yard Built Project, visit: https://www.yamahamotorsports.com/sport-heritage/pages/yard-built-home

All-Grain Brewing 101: The Basics

08:03
Welcome to the world of all-grain brewing! In this video, we’ll give you a crash course of everything you need to know to get started all-grain brewing. We’ll talk about the equipment you need and how you use it to make beer. In this video we’ll be using a gravity-fed setup with Fermenter’s Favorites All-Grain Coolers. We’ll walk you through simple assembly to ensure an easy, leak-free brew day. The all-grain brewing method we’ll show you in this video is called a single-step infusion mash. This means we’re going to hold the mash at one temperature the entire time to convert the starches into sugars. There are more advanced mashing schedules out there where you hold the mash at different temperatures for different amounts of time; we recommend you learn those after mastering the single-step infusion mash. You can find coolers and equipment at http://www.northernbrewer.com Step 1: Heat your strike water. This is the water that will bring your mash to the correct temperature. Step 2: Pour strike water into your mash tun, add the grist and stir well to prevent the grain from clumping together into dough balls, and to ensure an even temperature throughout the mash. Step 3: Hold your mash temperature for one hour. The standard temperature for mashing is between 148° and 158°F. Do not exceed a mash temperature of 168°F! Step 4: Inside the cooler, the hot water is activating enzymes in the grain that are converting the stored starches in the grain into fermentable brewing sugars. While this is happening, collect and heat the water for the sparge. Step 5: Once the sparge water is at 175°F, transfer it to the Hot Liquor Tank Step 6: After the saccharification rest (60-minute mash), mash out by raising the temperature of the mash to 170°F by adding near-boiling water (not the water from your Hot Liquor Tank) and stirring well. Step 7: After a mash-out of 10 minutes, recirculate by slowly draining runoff from the mash tun and gently pouring it back into the top of the mash tun until it is clear. Step 8: Sparge! Gently spray the grain in the mash tun with water from the hot liquor tank. Drain wort from the mash tun into the boil kettle at the same rate you are draining water from the hot liquor tank. Step 9: Stop sparging once you’ve collected an adequate amount of wort. Now you can boil your wort, much like you do with extract brewing. The only difference is a full-volume boil. As you become a more experienced all-grain brewer you’ll find techniques and tools that work better for your brew day. Whatever your method, the most important thing to remember is to never stop brewing! Spring of 2016 I had the chance to go hunt and fish in northern Quebec. The fishing was awsome and I had no idea the amount of bears. I was able to harvest my first black bear. I had a 3/4 mount done at Bears Den Taxidermist in Finleyville Pa. This is a quick video of me picking it up and a quick tour of the shop.

Art in a Gas Mask: Master's Touch Pastel Colored Pencils Review

09:21
I picked up the Master's Touch Pastel Colored Pencils at Hobby Lobby recently. Upon opening the box, I nearly gagged from the terrible odor! If you're interested in getting a copy (or two) of The MSPaint Comic: Painting North Korea Red, you can get them from either KTracy.com or Amazon. If you want multiple copies or a signed copy, it's cheaper to order from my website: https://www.ktracy.com/product/the-mspaint-comic-painting-north-korea-red-coloring-book-adventure/ If you are only ordering one (unsigned) copy and have Amazon Prime, you're better off getting it from Amazon: https://amzn.to/2Okkna4 This week, I used the Master's Touch Pastel Colored Pencils. However, I'm coloring a page of the coloring book using different tools and styles each Wednesday and making them into a webcomic. You can see this and all of my finished pages here: https://www.ktracy.com/webcomics/painting-north-korea-red/ And if you want to reach out to me, feel free to leave a comment or reach out to me at https://www.ktracy.com. You can find this 48-pencil set of Master's Touch Pastel Colored Pencils from Hobby Lobby here if you're interested in making a chemical weapon out of them. I don't know why else you would want these. https://www.hobbylobby.com/Art-Supplies/Drawing-Illustration/Pastels-Chalk/48-Color-Pastel-Colored-Pencils/p/138008

2 POUND GRANULAR SODIUM BENTONITE KOSHER FOOD GRADE

12:01
Buy this cheap on eBay with this link: https://ebay.us/MrCOLW (I'm not affiliated with the seller and do not profit from sales) Parts from original listing from eBay: This listing is for TWO POUNDS of GRANULAR Western (sodium) bentonite. We have been in business for over 10 years. We began by selling our clay for ponds and built our online business and nursery business, JMH Greenhouses and Watergardens. The PURCHASER is responsible for the payment of all fees, tariffs, taxes or other charges imposed by their government We sell clay in bulk That means that the clay comes in a plastic bag And is packed inside a box Or an envelope If it comes in a box then I suggest you store the clay in the box you get it in No fancy labels. No fancy printing. There are thousands of uses for clay So I can supply no instruction books Books are available for sale at many locations I am not a doctor I do not diagnose illnesses or provide medical advice We know many of our customers by name because they are here all the time. Some come several times a week. Through the years we have received many requests for edible and external clays for human use. Although we had used our clay for poultices, clarifying wine and supplementing our animal feed we dismissed the idea of eating or bathing in it or selling it to others for that purpose. After finding it listed in specialized foods for birds and other animals we started some in-depth research. There is an abundance of material from the scientific community and we have found good solid scientific evidence that these clays are not only beneficial to humans, but may be essential for human health. Now I use it myself. I eat two meals each day. I mix 2 teaspoons in my wide mouth plastic bottle with 3 ounces of water and three ounces of sugar free lemonade. I tried orange juice but I don't want any sugar. I shake this up about an hour before meals and let it set so it will get to room temperature. I drink half of it just before I eat and the other half as soon as the meal is finished. This auction is a for a GRANULAR Western bentonite (volcanic sodium bentonite). It is a swelling bentonite. This type (granular) is most commonly used for clarifying of wines There are no returns for these items. Once they have been opened by a customer and returned to us there is no way to guarantee that they are still safe to use. Everyone wants to know they are getting fresh clay and they deserve fresh clay -~-~~-~~~-~~-~- This is my NEW storefront on Amazon where you can find all my recommended FAVORITE products: https://www.amazon.com/shop/allcheckoutproductvideosreviewsinfostests Thanks for supporting my channel to keep it alive! -~-~~-~~~-~~-~-
Squishy Makeovers: Fixing Your Squishies #3

13:50
HEY! Here is another episode of SQUISHY MAKEOVERS! This is the series where I “fix” (or just redecorate) all kinds of damaged, old, unwanted or defected squishies that have been sent to me from my subscribers! Today I will be giving makeovers to 4 lucky candidates that were requested by YOU GUYS in the comments on my unboxing videos! If you want to be a part of the discussion and help VOTE for squishies that get makeovers, be sure to look out for my unboxing videos that will be posted every other Monday! I hope you guys are happy with how I did these squishies, this video was a blast to make and I really hope everyone enjoys it. Please remember to subscribe so you don’t miss future episodes! MATERIALS LIST: http://www.moriah.video/materials.html _________FAQs__________ 1. CAN I SEND YOU SQUISHIES? Right now, I am not taking any more squishy donations because I have gotten SOO many recently (I have awesome subscribers!) I want to make sure that I at least get to unbox everyone’s package on camera, and it will take me months JUST for the unboxing of the squishies I already have. So please hold off on sending me any more until I make an announcement that I am accepting squishies again! 2. ARE SQUISHIES RETURNED TO THE SENDERS AFTER THE MAKEOVER? No. Everyone gave me these squishies as gifts because they no longer wanted them and they knew in advance they would not be returned. It would becompletely impossible for me financially to send back squishies. Just to RECEIVE these squishies has cost me hundreds of dollars (I have to pay for P.O. box fees) and to add shipping them back to everyone would cost me thousands of dollars. I can’t afford it. There are MANY other reasons as well, I explained it in this video if you want to know the full list of reasons: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gKYCVbM8RU4&t=66s 3. WHAT PAINT DO YOU USE? I use fabric paint. Fabric paint is meant to stretch, so it is perfect for squishing! Any brand will work fine, but I mainly use Tulip and Scribbles. You can find it at Michaels, Hobby Lobby, A.C. Moore, Walmart, Joann Fabrics, and Online. 4. IS PUFFY PAINT THE SAME AS FABRIC PAINT? Yep!! Puffy paint is just a type of fabric paint. 5. WILL FABRIC PAINT CRACK? Nope! I have never had the fabric paint crack on my squishies. 6. CAN I USE ACRYLIC PAINT ON SQUISHIES? I would not recommend that. Acrylic paint will either make the squishy hard, or it will crack and flake off. 7. WHAT MEMORY FOAM DO YOU USE? I usually just buy a memory foam pillow on Amazon.com and use that to cut up. 8. CAN YOU DO MORE SQUISHIES IN EACH VIDEO OR DO MAKEOVER VIDEOS EVERY WEEK? I wish I could! But these videos take me about 30-50 hours to film and edit (not including waiting for the paint to dry or any breaks). And usually about 8 or 9 days of working on it. So it’s not really possible to do these any more than I am already doing without lowering the quality. PLUS! I want to keep up with my Monday videos and my art and craft videos as well ☺ 9. WHY DO YOU SOMETIMES USE A POPSICLE STICK AND OTHER TIMES USE A PAINTBRUSH TO APPLY PAINT? The “slick” fabric paint has a very thick consistency that does not spread easily with a paint brush. Using a popsicle stick is much easier for this type of paint. BUT the "matte" fabric paint is much thinner, similar consistency to acrylic paint and it can easily be applied with a paintbrush. 10. WHY DO YOU LIKE RAINBOW SO MUCH? I just like color, and I think rainbows are pretty. There’s really no other reason for my obsession haha MY UPLOAD SCHEDULE: Every Friday: Alternating drawing videos (create this book & this is not a book) AND craft/DIY videos AND Some Mondays: Squishy Updates, mail openings, vlogs, announcements, unboxing videos, show and tell etc. WHERE TO BUY MY BOOK: https://www.amazon.com/Create-This-Book-Moriah-Elizabeth/dp/0692452745/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1471023699&sr=8-1&keywords=create+this+book VISIT MY WEBSITE: http://www.moriah.video/ P.O. Our 7 Favorite 4X4 Trails Near Kingman Arizona

03:50
Looking for some easy or hard 4X4 trails in the Kingman Arizona area? We will show you our 7 favorite off road trails in the Kingman and Oatman areas. These 4x4 offroad trails range from easy to difficult. In the video: #7 - Devil's Dip Parallel Trail Not far from Interstate 40, the Devil’s Dip Parallel in an easy UP AND DOWN trail with panoramic views of the Hualapai (pronounced WALL-A-PIE) Mountains and surrounding forests. This easier trail parallels the Devil’s Dip Rock Crawling trail, in the wash far below. Most drivers finish this trail in 90-minutes or less. #6 - Sleeping Princess Jeep Trail With it’s trailhead in the Black Mountains only 24 miles west of Kingman, the Sleeping Princess is a 21-mile long trail that offers two very difficult options - The Bob Miller trail and Hell’s Half Mile. Conservative drivers that want to avoid body damage and remain on Sleeping Princess are rewarded with fantastic views of the Black Mountains and the Colorado River valley far below. #5 - Bob Miller Trail 4x4 Trail The first of two very difficult offshoots on the Sleeping Princess trail, the Bob Miller offroad trail requires drivers to navigate into a 40-foot deep ravine, with an 80-foot drop off along the right hand side. Drivers who make it are rewarded with a bone-jarring drive through a rocky channel. Plan on being slammed around in your off-road vehicle because there’s plenty of rocks and steep drop offs - If it’s not challenging enough going in, you can turn around and go back for even more fun #4 - Hell's Half Mile OHV Trail The second optional off-shoot along the Sleeping Princess trail, Hell’s Half Mile is a narrow rocky ravine with several difficult 90-degree turns. Maneuverability is essential on this trail, so longer off road vehicles and Jeeps are at a disadvantage. This trail is for experienced off-roaders only, and front & rear lockers are recommended #3 - Moss Wash Jeep Trail Only about 40 minutes southeast of Kingman and well up in the Wall-a-pie mountains, Moss Wash is a moderately difficult trail that leads 3 miles up to the historic Gold King Mine and Mansion AKA the Moss Mansion. Off-roaders will encounter slippery rocks, wash-outs, and loose-steep climbs on this trail so a lot of flex and at least one locker are recommended. #2 - The Serendipity Off Road Trail With a very difficult gatekeeper, Serendipity is a short but difficult trail recommended only for experienced off-roaders. With a lower elevation than the other trails, the terrain is more desert-like and drivers can expect hotter weather. Bring plenty of water and safety gear, and plan on being on the trail for at least several hours. #1 - Candy Ass Jeep Trail Located 2,700 feet up in Arizona’s Black Mountains, the Candy Ass trail starts just north of th historic town of Oatman. Like an enormous rock wall, Candy Ass has the tallest gatekeeper we’ve ever seen. Beyond the gatekeeper drivers will follow a long, narrow, and rocky trail lined with an army of cholla cactus. We suggest starting the day with a relaxing breakfast at Olive’s Restaurant, because you’ll need your energy while waiting for the rigs in front of you to do trail repairs.

British Xylonite/Wardle Storeys/BX plastics/ICI - Abandoned Factory - Brantham - Urbex

20:04
Filmed in September 2011. History Of The British Xylonite Co. Ltd The following was taken from the National Archives Site The British Xylonite Company could justifiably claim to be the first British firm successfully to manufacture a plastic material in commercial quantities. Xylonite, better known by its American equivalent of 'celluloid', was invented by Alexander Parkes and first displayed in 1862 under the name of 'Parkesine'. Derived from the nitro-cellulose and collodion processes, it was initially used for making domestic articles in substitution for wood, horn, ivory or tortoise shell. Its subsequent development was closely associated with Hackney, being taken up by Daniel Spill, rubber manufacturer, in 1864 and later by the Xylonite Company at Hackney Wick and the 'Ivoride' Works at Homerton High Street. The founders of the British Xylonite Company, Levi Parsons Merriam and his son Charles, established in 1875 a small business to make combs, imitation jewellery etc. next door to the 'Ivoride' Works; the two works merged in 1879. The original site being small and unsuitable, it was decided in 1887 to buy land at Brantham on the Suffolk bank of the River Stour and erect a purpose-built factory; finished goods continued to be made at Homerton until 1897 when a new factory was built at Hale End near Walthamstow (its products going by the trade name of 'Halex') which also housed the head office. Other types of plastics were introduced, and in 1938 the British Xylonite Company became a holding company with three subsidiaries: B.X. Plastics making xylonite and lactoid; Halex Ltd. making finished goods, and Cascelloid Ltd. making toys and bottles at Leicester and Coalville. The Distillers Company took a half-interest in 1939 and bought the entire Group in 1961, but in 1963 it formed part of a new grouping called Bakelite Xylonite Ltd. established jointly with Union Carbide, and including plants at Birmingham, Aycliffe and Grangemouth. Several sales and mergers took place in the 1960s and 1970s, the most significant being the sale of the Brantham and Aycliffe sites in 1966 to British Industrial Plastics, a subsidiary of Turner and Newall Ltd., who were in turn purchased in 1977 by Storey Brothers of Lancaster, formerly a major commercial rival. The Brantham site operated under the name of Wardle Storeys and until recently manufactured limited quantities of xylonite using traditional processes and equipment. The company went into liquidation in January 2007.

Homemade alcohol

Homemade alcohol Not so long ago, I posted a couple of pictures of alcohol, obtained in my home. Judging by the comments, this topic is of interest to people. In this post I will try to describe in detail the process of cooking alcohol. First you need to make home-made beer, from which we will drive out the alcohol. I used the classic recipe for mash made of sugar and yeast. The dishes served three glass bottles with stoppers dvadtsatilitrovye adapted for quick fit. Yeast: for each bottle, 100 grams Sugar - 4 kg each portion Spring water - 13 liters Water was warmed to room temperature and stir it in sugar and then pour into the bottle Yeast bred in warm water and poured into the last turn After all the components are filled into a bottle, it is necessary to cut off the air. For greater fidelity shook tape cork The bottles are placed in a warm place for 10-14 days After two weeks of waiting, when Braga stopped "gurgle" in hydrolocks and brightened, you can proceed to the distillation Putting the machine Cube I have 20 liters, it turns out one bottle - one batch distillation Fill Braga finished in a cube Here is the machine on a plate This is a common type of hoses During primary distillation of the refrigerator is not used on the column, water is not supplied to him for this Hoffman clamp fully twisted. Impurities in the distillation of wash constantly "generated" directly in the cube when heated. The fact that yeast that are inherently microorganisms before boil alive isolated Braga unnecessary boiling impurities including fusel oil. So first you need to conduct the distillation at a maximum heating performance and to the yeast died quickly and allocated as little as possible undesired substances. For this reason it is strongly recommended that the second distillation with fractionation. Crude alcohol distillation at a maximum speed turns a small fortress As a result, I got out of the whole mash three 3-liter jars of 60% and two banks 35% crude alcohol, each distillation took about three hours Now you're ready for the second distillation - fractional. Instead mash is poured into a cube raw alcohol, pre-diluted to a fortress of 20-40% A small trick gleaned from the Internet by me: if you add in the crude alcohol 3 teaspoons of baking soda, the alcohol will much "softer" After the column heated to 75 degrees in the upward refrigerator supplied with water from the tap To this end, Hoffmann-adjustable clamp 20 minutes vapor completely condenses on the cooler upstream - operation on Then reposition the clip back to the water supply pipe in the upward refrigerator and start slowly, with pauses after each half revolution, closing up until the output drops appear overhead. From that moment, the selection of the first fraction "heads" After screening 150 ml to 20 liter cube can proceed to the selection of "food" faction. The temperature is stabilized in the vicinity of 78-82 degrees That's the result! Close-up The lower the temperature of the cube, the lower the system performance, the higher the product fort. During the distillation bottoms temperature increases. "Food" fraction is taken to a temperature of 87 degrees in the cube. When it is not possible to keep the temperature below 87 degrees, it is necessary to change the receptacle and collect "tail" fraction. The second distillation is much slower than the first one, I have it took about 12 hours, while I spent only half of the resulting crude alcohol . Here's what happened It is believed that the house do alcohol is much cheaper. Now you can roughly calculate the cost, considering not only the sugar and yeast, but also gas, cooling water, gasoline, in order to bring the spring water, and other components. But most importantly - the time it takes to do something to get a decent product. After all, it received only alcohol, but to cook out of it delicious drinks, will take a lot of time. But for myself, I came to the decision that the drink of own production is much tastier and safer. This is my first post, do not judge strictly, although critics essentially even be useful. If the topic is interesting, it will be possible to continue on the subject of cooking directly drinks themselves.

Up top here we're going to have our Draw-Tite Class 3 hitch. Then right below that we're going to have our etrailer Class 3 hitch. Then finally, below that we're going to have our CURT Class 3 hitch. If I was looking for a hitch for my Frontier, I would probably go with the Draw-Tite for a few different reasons. It is going to have an increased tongue weight, which is going to be nice for a few different accessories we might want, or just to have your trailer, as well as some minor differences that it'll have over the two etrailer and the CURT. Let's take a closer look at all the differences between them. Our Draw-Tite is going to have the highest tongue weight at 750 pounds, and a gross trailer weight rating of 5,000 pounds. Now our etrailer hitch is going to have a 500 pound tongue weight along with a 5,000 pound gross trailer weight rating, which is going to be the same as our CURT hitch. All three of our hitches are rated for use with weight distribution systems, and the rating is going to be the same when we're using it. We're going to have an 800 pound tongue weight along with an 8,000 pound gross trailer weight rating. Now with all of those numbers in mind, you should always double check your Nissan's owner's manual and make sure you don't exceed the manufacturer's recommended weight. One thing the Draw-Tite is going to have that the other two are not is going to be this secondary hole towards the back of our receiver tube. That's going to be used for the j-pin stabilization device. The way that's going to work is we're going to have the threaded section go in just like a normal hitch pin, but then there's going to be a small hook that's going to go into that secondary hole. We'll have a nut that's going to secure that pin down. What it's going to do is it's actually going to apply pressure to our accessory and keep it from rattling around. It also is a locking device, so it's going to keep all of our accessories nice and safe. While the j-pin stabilization device is not included with our hitch, you can find this and other hitch locks that'll work with all three of our hitches here at etrailer.com. All three of our hitches are going to accept the industry-standard 5/8 pin and clip. Again, none of our hitches are going to include the pin or clip, but you can pick some up here at etrailer.com.Another thing Draw-Tite has done is they've welded this bracket onto the crosstube just to the outside towards the driver side of our receiver tube. That way we can mount any kind of electrical accessory and it'll be ready for whenever we're ready to tow. That's just one less accessory that we'll have to buy to mount our electrical sockets, because with our etrailer and our CURT hitch we still can, but we'll have to buy a separate bracket. Now the one downside that I don't like about our Draw-Tite is the safety chain connection points. They're going to be a plate style, kind of angled on the side of the receiver tube. You can see there's kind of a large flange here. So if we have some smaller hooks like here, it may be a little bit of trouble trying to get those in place around there, whereas with the etrailer and the CURT, they're both going to have a loop style. They're going to completely open and extremely easy to hook on and take off.The last major difference is going to be appearance. Our Draw-Tite is going to have somewhat of an in between a flat and a gloss. It's going to be kind of a semi-gloss finish. Our etrailer hitch is going to have a carbide, almost flat black finish to it, which I really like. Kind of blends in with all the plastic that typically is on our trucks. Then finally at the bottom you're going to have your CURT. That's going to have your really high gloss black finish, which is really typical of most hitches. Now as far as the installation goes, all three of our hitches are going to install identically. We're not going to have to cut or drill anything, and we're going to use three factory mounting holes that are already existing in our frame. To sum everything up, if weight capacity is your biggest concern when looking for a hitch, I would definitely go with the Draw-Tite because it is going to have an increased tongue weight capacity. As far as ease of installation goes, I think they're all going to
