Get Your Free Online Store Success Pack Here: http://www.effectiveecommerce.com/ESAdwords/ Adwords Course: http://www.effectiveecommerce.com/adwordscourse/ Creating a well converting Google Ads can be tough. Sometimes it can be the simplest tip that will end up saving you the most money. Today we’re going to touch on 7 of the best tips to increase your conversions with Google ads. The first tip would be to have good images that stand out to your potential customers. Search some of the keywords relevant to your product and check out the other products already out there. Make sure that your photos are relevant to what is being searched, but also make sure that your image draws in the customer’s attention. Next, you’re going to want to make sure that your titles are keyword rich. This means that your title needs to be packed full of keywords that relate to your product and are going to attract buying customers when they search that keyword. Negative keywords are another huge component to driving your conversion rates up. It’s important to note which keywords fail to give you sales when searched. Since Google charges you based on when a customer clicks your ad, it’s important to note as many negative keywords as possible so that you’re not wasting money on a customer that isn’t going to buy from you anyways. Another great thing to do is remarket to these customers. Note which keywords are being clicked on and remarket that out to that demographic. It’s always important to review and adjust your ads as well. Check out which keywords are performing well and which keywords are not. If you’re noticing that one keyword is not performing well, turn it into a negative keyword. If you’re noticing that one keyword is doing very well, turn that into a text AdWord. A text AdWord is a Google ad shown at the top of the page when your keyword is searched, and this might just catch a customer’s eye and drive them to your landing page. Finally, create multiples of your ad. You can rename your product as many times as you’d like with different thumbnail images so that your product dominates the keyword search page. Also, as a bonus tip, create separate campaigns for your mobile and desktop traffic. It’s great to note which keyword are performing better on desktop versus mobile, this is another great way to increase your conversion rates. 1. Good Images 2. Keywords Rich Titles 3. Negative Keywords 4. Remarket 5. Review and Adjust 6. Text Adwords 7. Create Multiples Bonus Secret Create Separate Campaigns For Mobile and Desktop Traffic. Product Listing Ads Tutorial To Set Up Google Shopping AKA PLAs

13:30
Get Your Free Online Store Success Pack Here: http://www.effectiveecommerce.com/ESstarting In this video I'm going to show you how to make campaigns in AdWords for your product listing ads. So the first thing we're going to look at here is this is actually for be dancewear this is not for the asana yoga clothing brand that I’ve been working on. So if you go to your products you can see that these are the different products I have available and for instance here's some SKUs or some item IDs Blue dance skirts etc. etc. now if we go into google AdWords we see here that I have a bunch of the different campaigns and the way I have mine set up and I’d recommend setting them up is the campaigns are separated by the type of item it is and the reason is you're able to use a better negative keyword targeting. So let's walk through one of these campaigns. So I’ll make a new one I’ll make one that I’ve already have. So you can see it from scratch first go plus campaign shopping I’m going to call this one dance pants PL and I put a PL in the campaign name to signify product listing ads this is. So when I go in analytics I can see which of my campaigns or product listing ads and which ones are not Crunch you a country of sale we're going to go to United States I'm just going to do only United States for me Personally let's say default bid of $20. and five dollars a day just to put something there and also put a schedule here like maybe you don't want to show it in the mornings things like that you can create custom schedule change the times that you want to do it I'm not going to deal with that right now because this is just a for fun one. So actually I'll call it dance pants PL fake just. So I know that later I should delete it save and continue now there's a couple different ways to do it one way to do it is just make one general ad group which you can do I like doing different I like doing a specific ad group for every product it's really up to you what you want to do on that. So I'm going to call this green dance pants just for now just to show you one thing you can do instead is go like this and then subdivide it by item ID. So let's go save and continue'. So that would give you a group with a lot of different options here. So you basically put all your products into one group there's Other ways you can do it as well. So let's show some of the other ways you can do it find my. So that's one way in another way you can do it is let's make another ad group. So I'll add ad group here ad group now I'll just call it a group number two and then you can subdivide by product type save and continue' and now it's subdivided by product type. So these are like dance pants are like red Irish dance skirt green everything else there's a few in there : this is all my different leggings everything else. So those are some of the ways that you can divide it this one is divided by the number basically the product number. So that's everything in this category in this product group right here but the way that I ultimately like to do it let me show you how I would do it. So ad groups ad group create one ad group yes or no I just do it like this and let's say dance pants fake save and continue' then it takes you here what you can do is click that little plus sign go buy item ID or add bulk values manually. So now at this point you can copy and paste your bulk values right here I'm going to pull it from my data feed depending on how you're doing how you did it if you did it automatically it's a little bit different you just you take the numbers one by one but I'm going to pull it from my data feed. So this is my data feed here and I did this manually I could do a separate video if you guys are interested in how to do a manual data feed but let me go down. So we see these are a bunch this is basically the item ID this is the title the description a link to the actual product an image link the GTIN and nan I don't have I don't have a GTIN because that's just the way my brain works the brand is my own brand I go this is the category product category pink lycra and then product type at the end here 2:07 alright. Assume all links in the video & description are affiliate links and that by using them you are supporting the channel, so thank you!

How to Set Up The Product Listing Ads Feed For Google Shopping

09:38
Get Your Free Online Store Success Pack Here: http://www.effectiveecommerce.com/ESadwords In this video I'm gonna show you how to set up your Google Merchant Center account but more importantly this is going to be your product listing ads feed and how to set it up the first step of which is to set up your your Merchant Center account. So we'll click on I just googled Merchant Center click on that click sign up from here select our country and put United States because that's where I'll locate it out of asana yoga pants' website URL is going to be awesome new yoga pants' calm on me go ahead and copy that put it in here put your name I'm gonna unclick all this kind of stuff at a different contact for no we don't need all that just go ahead and click that click yes continue you're going to have to basically claim your URL and the problem was I thought I could do it through Google Analytics you cannot you have to do this HTML file upload and to do that basically you download this file and Shopify you're going to go to your settings files upload it there. So just click upload it'll give you this little URL take that URL and then go to online store navigation and then you our URL redirects you're going to add a URL redirect paste that in there oops paste paste this part in here from from this and then the long thing that we had in that last slide you paste it in here add your URL redirect I already did it I actually did it for a different different which Michalek account. You can see it there. So the next step after this is actually getting your product feet and you can see feeds here right now we don't have any feed. So let me show you how to do that. So to do that you're going to go back here we're going to go down to apps and depending on what platform you want you're on it's at this stage Shopify is a little bit different than a lot of the other ones let's go ahead and visit Shopify app store search I believe it's called the Google shopping up oops the Google Shopping app will click on this click get stall app at which point you're going to click sign into your Google account let's go ahead I went ahead and signed in and then just click allow then you're going to get the number. So let's say the account ID number is right up here I'll go to type it in one one zero eight three three zero five four copy that put it in here confirm your account we're going to go to settings website verification I believe that's already done I already showed you how to do that Google Analytics is easy way easiest way if you don't have an account setup unit or with instructions here. I'm going to click test your domain the next step is after you've got that I had to fix something with my domain settings but it's pretty easy to fix next follow these instructions basically and this is going to be creating the shipping method and I'll go ahead and do this. So we're going to click plus shipping method I'm going to call this free shipping because in my store everything's going to be free shipping you'll want to match whatever let's say the transit time is two to five days and zero dollars go ahead and click Save test shipping rates alright it took a second to update. So choose a collection I'm going to call it homepage or I could just do all products maybe I'll do all products just make it easier and then click publish. So now the products are being published to Google. So this might happen to you. So I'll show you really quick I I was stopped because I had some errors. So let's see what the errors are and it's probably going to be if you haven't done this before the error is in setting up the product category. So the Google and the GTIN is missing but start with the product category. So let's say work out clothing. So we have a few different ones here we have clothing apparel and accessories like active wear. So this is we're probably going to be around here clothing active wear. Assume all links in the video & description are affiliate links and that by using them you are supporting the channel, so thank you!

How to Set Up A Google Shopping Campaign To Create Product Listing Ads

06:32
Get Your Free Online Store Success Pack Here: http://www.effectiveecommerce.com/ESstarting In this module we're going to talk about product listing ads which is one of my favorite types of ads it's one of my favorite types of PPC ads it's actually one of my favorite types a ways to get traffic to my website. So let's talk about some product listing ads. So first off why product listing ads well they're made for e-commerce and I mean this right here you can see why they have a price underneath a product it's just it's perfect for e-commerce it signals a strong buying intent when someone's looking at a regular text ad AdWords ad they may be just searching for more information they might be looking for a hundred different things but with these it's more likely to be people that are ready to buy it has the price underneath it has the picture it really signals that hey if someone's clicking on this they're committing to buying something or they're at least more likely to be interested in buying something. So what are PLA is I kind of already showed you but let's make it very obvious here these are PLA s and as you can see its images with underneath it you have the title of what's in there. So if you look at the first one it's yellow dance pants and then the price underneath there. So this is $31.99. And then ultimately underneath that it has the websites Bdancewear.com my website. So once again these product listing ads are great for converting people because some of those clicking on one of these is much more likely to buy compared that with like a regular text ad below. So this one that says yellow dance pants sale someone might click on that because they're interested in and buying actually this one they probably would because it does say sale and all that kind of stuff but generally speaking text ads when someone clicks on it they're much more likely to be interested in learning and gathering information in general when you go to Google nine times out of you're probably interested in information and text ads when you click on a text ad it's probably because you're looking for information when you click on a regular Google search result most people are looking for information once again product listing ads they have a price underneath them people in the click on them are much more likely to buy. That's what product listing ads are. So let's start talking about them a little bit more and specifically on how to set them up. So the first thing you need to do is get your Google merchant account that's really easy to do I mean if you signed up for Gmail before or Facebook then you can definitely do this actually I guess I should say before you sign up your Google merchant account you need to have a Gmail account but that's step yeah to have AdWords you obviously need to have a Gmail account. So the next thing is to actually set up your feed and we'll talk about this in just a second and I'm going to show you step-by-step how to do this and I will believe lesson two. So you can watch that. So the second step is setting up the feed then after that is setting up the ads in AdWords and I have lesson where I show you step-by-step how to do that as well I'll show you the screen recording on what to do it's fairly simple it's actually it's a little bit complicated a little bit simple now but I'll show you how to do it in and then it will become very simple. So there's two ways to set up your feet the first one is with a manual txt file you can open this up in Excel and you can manipulate it just like you would a excel file or CSV or something like that it's a little bit ugly there's some benefits we'll talk about in a second for doing it this way but the other way you can do it is V an automatic feed and there's different apps that work with Shopify that plug-in from Shopify into Google same thing with Volusion has an automatic feed and BigCommerce does as well I believe WordPress does is well with Moo commerce though. So there's some advantages to the automatic feed obviously it's automatic which makes it a little bit easier there's also some disadvantages. Assume all links in the video & description are affiliate links and that by using them you are supporting the channel, so thank you!

How to Get More Clicks to Your Product Listing Ads AKA Google Shopping Ads

03:49
Get Your Free Online Store Success Pack Here: http://www.effectiveecommerce.com/ESadwords Product Listing Ads are probably my favorite type of PPC advertising I've ever encountered they work just. So great but the question I get extremely often is how do I get more clicks to my product listing ads campaigns and the answer is coming up in just a second hi I'm Travis with effective e-commerce and in this video I'm gonna tell you how to get more clicks to your PLA campaigns it's a Wednesday which means it's Q&A day and this is a question I had from one of my private coaching clients and they asked me how do I get more clicks to my PLA ads the great thing about PLA s is they work they tend to convert better than almost any kind of paid advertising that I've seen but one of the problems is at the beginning it might be hard to get a lot of clicks to them and there's a few different answers and some of the answers you might not like as much as others the first one is if you want to get more clicks increase your bit that's the quick fast and dirty answer but there's some other things that we should think about here the other way to do it is to add more of your products a lot of people don't have all their products up on their PLA S or if they do they aren't properly segmenting them and doing a bunch of stuff I'll talk about in another episode. So that's one thing is make sure you have you increase your bids that's one of the easiest and quickest ways to do it to increase the number of products you have available through your PLA s now the next thing is do you really want to increase your clicks maybe what you instead want to do is increase the accuracy of what Google shows and what I mean by this is if you're getting clicks a week let's say but only 50% of them are relevant why don't you get rid of those 50% that are irrelevant and the way to do this and this is the key the number one key with PLA s google shopping ads also called you need to add a ton of negative keywords that is the one thing I've looked at a lot of product listing ad campaigns and a lot of people do not add enough negative keywords another idea for increasing the number of clicks you get to your PLA campaigns is by splitting up a campaign that's just for desktop tablet and splitting up another one that's just for mobile I don't recommend having this in the same campaign but mobile traffic does convert probably not quite as well is the compute in the tablet traffic does it still does convert and that's a good way to expand the amount of traffic you're able to get the number of clicks you're able to get. So that's another tip. So those are the four main tips one increase your bids this is the real low-hanging fruit and I know it sucks none of us want to pay a lot of money for clicks but that's number one two is to actually increase the number of products you have within your campaign three is instead of increasing the number of clicks you get maybe it's better to increase the knocker see of those clicks then finally four is to actually add mobile traffic and the best way to do this and I'll talk about this in another video is to have a separate campaign. So those are the four ways to increase the number of clicks you get to your product listing ads thanks guys and as a side note if you're interested in product listing ads sign up for my email list up here or down below it's going to give you access to a ton of free stuff but in a few weeks maybe a few months depending on my schedule I'm looking to come out with a product listing ads info product an e-book a course and if you want to find out more information about that click on the links and sign up make sure you subscribe down below I'm going to give you new episodes every week making sure you stay ahead on the latest and greatest in e-commerce news and the trends you don't want to get caught behind and if you haven't already make sure you sign up for my ecommerce success pack there's a ton of great stuff in there basically when you sign up I'm going to send you check list marketing ideas other stuff like that and it's going to be just tons of value in there I promise but thank you guys for watching this and remember we have new e-commerce news episodes every Monday tips and tricks on Tuesdays and Q&A on Wednesdays. In today's episode we're gonna be talking about Google shopping ads also known as product listing ads also known as PLA so we're gonna do a basic tutorial over everything and just like with AdWords I think it's hard to convey all the subtleties of this over a podcast it's much easier to do it over video where I have a screen share so I do have on my YouTube channel defective ecommerce YouTube channel I do have a complete tutorial about product listing ads or at least if I don't have it yet at the time of this recording I will have it up pretty soon so you can go to my YouTube channel to see a complete walkthrough tutorial on that but I'm gonna do my best job on this podcast to explain as much as I can about product listing ads Google shopping ads whatever you want to call them for for the point of this podcasts I'm gonna call product listing ads or PLA s so what are PLA is you might be wondering well I've talked about it in previous episodes but just for a quick refresher course if you search something in Google I'm gonna use the example of red blender because I've been using red dance pants way too much and I'm just gonna use red blender for right now how at least if you searched red blender in Google and Google what happens is you get a bunch of different results you get a bunch of different things that show up you get a bunch of text results that'll take you to websites you get a bunch of paid AdWords text results that'll also take you to websites but at the top if you look there are images of red blenders and they have a price underneath them those are product listing ads and the reason they're so powerful is because it shows the searcher the person doing the searching I guess would be the search e or the searcher the person doing the search e it shows them an image of what the products gonna look like and the price so if someone is going to click on your ad that's because they like the image they like the product itself and they're okay with the price so this is powerful this is a very powerful tool because of exactly what I just said it shows buying intent to if someone's looking for an article they're not going to click on the picture with the price on it because they know that it's not going to be an article that that links gonna take them to a product to purchase so that's why product listing ads are great so one of the neg parts of product listing ads at least at the time of this recording is you don't get to pick which search terms your ads show up for you can tell Google you get to put a image into Google you get to give them a title of your product and you get to give them a link to your product page so what Google does is what Google does best at at that point they look at your product page they look at the product title How NEGATIVE keywords impact broad, phrase, and exact matches Setting up your feed, manual or automatic? Basic integrations: Adwords, Analytics, Webmaster Tools Key elements of your feed data Title, description, price, image, category, brand, GTIN, MPN How product IDs work and naming campaigns Segmenting to make easier bid adjustments How Google Shopping works with no keywords Using negative keyword lists to focus your targeting Measuring average pageviews, bounce rate, and e-commerce conversions Strategies to adjust bids and measure ROI How to use Adwords search queries for PLA targeting The #1 reason to separate mobile campaigns from desktop Replicating your campaigns on Bing product listing ads Adwords and PLA Course Assume all links in the video & description are affiliate links and that by using them you are supporting the channel, so thank you!

Create a Shopping Campaign - AdWords In Under Five Minutes

02:57
Google AdWords is now Google Ads. Click here to learn more about our new advertising brand: blog.google/technology/ads/new-advertising-brands/ Learn how to create an AdWords Shopping Campaign, create your first ad group, set up location targeting, and set a bid for your products. 00:00 Hi everyone, this is AdWords in Under Five Minutes, and this video will show you how to create a Google Shopping campaign. Let’s get started! 00:18 Shopping campaigns are a great way to promote your products through shopping ads. These ads are a format that includes an image, title, price, your business name, and more! 00:28 At this point you should have your Merchant Center account created, but if you still need to do that, check out this video to learn how. 00:36 To get started creating your Shopping Campaign, sign in to your AdWords account at adwords.google.com. Click the Campaigns tab. Then, click + Campaign and select Shopping. On the “Select campaign settings” page, give your campaign a name. 00:54 Provide a merchant identifier by clicking the Select account drop-down menu and choosing the Merchant ID. The ID should be the Google Merchant Center account associated with the products being advertised in this Shopping campaign. 01:08 From the drop-down menu next to “Country of Sale” select the country where the products in this campaign are sold. Next to “Locations,” choose the geographical areas where you want the Product Listing Ads in this campaign to appear. 00: 22 By default, Shopping campaigns show ads on the Google Search Network and on Google search partner websites. You can deselect the “Include search partners” check box if you don’t want to include them in your campaign. Click “Save and Continue.” 01:37 You’ll now be prompted to create an Ad Group, within that you’ll have one product group. There are different ways to set up your Shopping campaigns, but we’re going to take you through the easiest, and simplest option: One product group, and one single bid for all products. 01:52 Next, give your Ad Group a name. Enter promotional text for your ad, if you’d like to. This promotional text can appear with any of the products associated with this ad group, so make sure the text is relevant to all the products that you'll be advertising in that ad group. Click “Save and Continue.” 02:13 You’ll be taken to your ad group's “Product Groups” tab, where you’ll see one “All products” product group. 02:20 And that’s it - you now have a Shopping Campaign, and an Ad Group with all of your products! 02:25 If you are interested in other ways to group your products within your Shopping campaign ad groups, check out this video. 02:31 Don’t forget to subscribe to our YouTube channel, and if you have any questions, you can post them in the comments section below! 02:37 If you have further/any other questions about this topic, you can ask a question on social media, discuss this on the AdWords Community, chat to us online, or pick up the phone and give us a call!

How To Best Format Product Titles for Product Listing Ads and Google Shopping

02:56
Get Your Free Online Store Success Pack Here: http://www.effectiveecommerce.com/successpack/ In this video, I'm gonna show you how to format your work titles of your products for product listing ads. So that it's best for you. So they're most likely to come up. So I'm gonna give you an example first. So this is mine is my example here. So yellow dance pants if you type in yellow dance pants into Google first off don't click on any of the ads because it'll charge me. So please don't do that but these are the different product listing ads I have. So yellow dance pants available in two hundred fewer colors handmade in the USA yellow high-waist dance pants post colors you know whatever. So three out of six of these. So half of these are mine the other ones target discount dance which is a fifty million dollar revenue competitor of mine in new chic. So I'm doing better than all these companies and the reason it is because I have the keyword I'm trying to rank for yellow dance pants yellow high waist dance pants yellow dance pants. So that is my number one piece of advice for this I know it's not as flashy as you might think but think about what search terms people are potentially typing in I do add at the end you see available in two hundred colors Hannah in the USA. So it gives a little bit of an I don't know incentive a little bit of like a value-add. So let me just show you I do mine I don't have Shopify, I have Volusion which means I do my titles manually. So this is how I do it pink dance briefs - available in two hundred colors handmade in the USA you know I don't know if you need this last part you probably only really need the first part I like putting the plus sign in there and I like the handmade in the USA. So I did add it but I think the one thing you should take away from this video is put the keyword you're trying to rank for also if you see let's see I don't know if I come up for red dance pants as well I'm not that's not good I got to fix that green. So that's one of them like my green leggings let's try blue wait actually ivory yeah. So this is back to me again a lot of me but what I do is I put different images for all the different colors and think about how you can do that with your own company how can you make it. So you're really targeted as possible like a lot of my competitors just say dance pants and they put some random color up. So like look at for instance this one I typed in ivory dance pants and women's yoga white horizontal print that's not really what people are looking for. So think about what people are looking for and used the correct keywords when you're doing it. So thank you for watching this video every week I have new Q&A videos. So if you have a question about e-commerce please leave it down below and if you're interested I have the free e-commerce success pack you can click up here to get that includes checklists for marketing it includes checklist for your website to make sure that it is optimized as possible free marketing ideas a bunch of cool stuff get it for free clicking up here and thank you for watching this video. Google my Business: 9 Actionable Tips for Better Rankings (in 2019)

17:36
GOOGLE MY BUSINESS is by far the strongest factor for your business to rank in the Google Local Pack. And since the Local pack results are displayed right at the top of Google search results, you'd better have a well optimised Google my business profile if you want your business to be displayed in the local pack. But you may not have noticed that Google has introduced many new features to Google My business over the past few months to help small businesses drive more customers to their business. If you're not using these features, not only you are missing out on the chance of getting more clients but also reducing your chances of featuring in the Local pack. That's why in this video I am going to run through 9 very powerful features that have been added to the Google my business suite which you can use to better promote your business online for free. Starting with Google my business posts, you'll find out how you can add small posts to your listing that act like mini adverts to promote your product or services. You will then discover the power of the question and answer option available by default in every google listing. You will learn how to add a description to your business, an option that was dropped by Google in 2016 which has been reintroduced in March 2018. (PLEASE NOTE: the description field can contain up to 750 characters and not 750 words as specified in the video) I will also cover Google reviews which no longer requires any introduction and teach you how to add a service menu regardless of what type of business you're in. I will show you how to add a video to your listing as well as a booking button and direct message your potential customers. I will round it all up with the Google website builder option so even if you don't have a website you can build one. And to finish it all off, there is a bonus chapter that will show you how to track accurately the organic traffic generated from your Google My business profile using the campaign URL builder: https://ga-dev-tools.appspot.com/campaign-url-builder/ For more tips and tricks visit: http://rankingacademy.co.uk Boost your visibility with my free guide: 10 awesome marketing tips http://rankingacademy.co.uk/guides/on... 3 Best Practices on Google Shopping & Product Listing Ads | CPC Strategy

02:56
Find out more about our services at http://www.cpcstrategy.com If you watch only one of our Google Shopping videos, it should be this one! These are a few Google Shopping best practices from the leading industry experts! *wink* If you aren't already doing these practices, apply them to your business immediately and tells us about your improvements. For more information about Comparison Shopping and all things Ecommerce, check out our blog at http://www.cpcstrategy.com/blog Transcript: Hey everyone, I'm Rick Backus from CPC Strategy. I'm making this video to answer the question; what are some best practices on Google product listing ads? We get a lot of retailers who contact us who can't necessarily afford the service, or they're not an ideal fit for us to manage their campaigns, and so they just ask us what are some best practices? So, I wanted to go through the top three things that we tell to retailers when they ask for that. They first one is to optimize your feed. Oftentimes, we'll look at the data feed that a retailer can provide, and it's absolute crap. It doesn't matter how sophisticated Google is, to take that feed with the information they have in it and give those products exposure, is not happening. A lot of times when it's for smaller retailers who may only have a few hundred products, go in and rewrite the titles and go in and rewrite the descriptions and bring in someone who has SEO expertise to build up that feed. On a larger scale of 30-50,000 products, that becomes much more difficult, but if you have a small feed, that's totally realistic and that's a really good use of your time. It's a high-leverage activity, even for the business owner. That's the first tip, is to optimize your feed. The second one is to monitor your budget. You need to have a really good idea of what you want to spend on Google product listing ads, because if you start the budget too high, Google is usually pretty good about figuring out ways to spend that money. Have an idea of what the budget is, and then start actually tweaking the bids. That's the third tip, is to tweak your bids. You have your budget, you've optimized your feed, now figure out what you need to be bidding. Oftentimes you have to up your bids to the point of, we've done it for some clients where we put $6 or $7 bids just to get to the rotation for Google. Your average CPC and what they will charge you won't actually be $6 or $7. Oftentimes, it's going to be 0.80 or $1. But it gets you in the rotation. You can see where your average position is and then you can usually back off the bids a little bid and lower the average CPC. Just in general, for the same keywords on AdWords, on Google product listing ads, you can usually bid about half as much and Google's doing a really good job of only showing those products for really qualified searches. If you look at the conversion for product listing ads versus Adwords, minus branded campaigns in Adwords, product listing ads is going to convert much better. At least at this point in time, it's a really good investment. Those are some best practices. That's a general overview, something that we would tell to someone who's new to Google listing ads. We've created an ebook that's over 90 pages that gets into every level of nuance you could possibly want to read about of Google product listing ads; probably more than you actually want to read about. There should be something in there for everybody. Download the ebook. That's all I've got for this video. My name is Rick Backus and we are CPC Strategy.

How to Get Higher Google Rankings in 2019 [New Checklist]

12:09
Want higher Google rankings in 2019? Then make sure to check out this new case study. In today's video you'll see how my SEO checklist helped Proven increase their organic traffic by 88.3%. Specifically, you'l learn... Why "Zombie Pages" can doom your search engine rankings... and how to identify and eliminate them. In fact, as you'll see, Sean from Proven ended up deleting 40k pages! The next step in my SEO checklist can improve Google rankings FAST. And that step is cleaning up technical SEO issues. Third, we've got on-page SEO. Here's where I show you how to optimize your content around your target keyword (or keywords). Next, I show you how to optimize your site around two new-ish ranking factors: click-through-rate (CTR) and dwell time. Both are becoming more and more important parts of Google's algorithm. Now that your content is optimized for keywords and user experience signals, it's time to speed up your site's loading speed. I show you two cool SEO tools that you can use to improve your site's loading time. Last but not least, it's time to publish a piece of content using the Skyscraper Technique. The fact is: if you want higher Google rankings, your content needs to be significantly better than what's out there. And that's where this step comes into play. All in all, I hope this SEO checklist helps you improve your Google rankings. 7 Free Tools to Rank #1 in Google | SEO Optimization Techniques to Skyrocket Your Rankings

05:07
You want to rank number one in Google. How do you do it?►►Subscribe here to learn more of my secret SEO tips: https://goo.gl/ScRTwc Find me on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/neilkpatel/ Read more on my blog: https://neilpatel.com/blog Most people say you need to build links. Most people say you need to do on page SEO. But where do you start? Hey everyone, I'm Neil Patel, and today I'm going to share seven free tools that will help you rank number one on Google. Tip #1: Quick Sprout Analyzer. Quick Sprout's a free tool, go to quicksprout.com, put in your URL, it's a gamified SEO application, and it'll break down the problems, and will walk you through how to fix them step by step. If you're not putting in the right keywords in your title tag or your description or your alt image tags, Quick Sprout will tell you, and Quick Sprout can publish them all for you. This will help with SEO optimization and google ranking. #2: Yoast SEO plugin. It's one of my favorite tools. With the Yoast SEO plugin, every time you publish a blog post, it'll give you a score and tell you, hey, here's how you can optimize every single one of your blog posts to get the maximum amount of traffic. #3: Google Search Console. With Google Search Console every time you publish a new blog post or a page, you have an XML site map. The XML site map is created by the Yoast Plugin which you then submit to Search Console. Search Console shows you how many impressions you're getting, how many clicks you're getting, which pages are popular, and it even shows you which keywords are getting a lot of impressions for, but not a lot of clicks. You can then go and optimize your content by adding those keywords in, adjusting your title tag, your meta description to include those keywords, and maximize your click-through rate and boost your google ranking. #4: Google Trends. Google Trends shows you brand queries. That way you'll know which brands are more popular and what people are searching for. Take the car industry for example. There's General Motors, and BMW. They both have millions of dollars to spend on SEO. They both have millions of back links. How does Google know which to rank higher? One of the factors within Google is brand queries and Google Trends will show you that BMW is searched far more than General Motors. So what's Google going to do? They're going to rank the more popular car manufacturer ahead of the other. #5: websiteresponsivetest.com More people are using Google on their mobile or tablet devices than they are on their desktop or laptops. You want to make sure your website is responsive, and people on mobile devices can load your website extremely fast, and using this free tool, it'll show you how other websites and mobile visitors are seeing your website. #6: Screaming Frog. Screaming Frog is a super technical SEO optimization tool. You put in a URL, and it shows you every little thing that's wrong, from titles to headings to keywords to links. It analyzes every little thing from the super advanced technical framework. #7: Google PageSpeed Insights. Google PageSpeed Insights shows how fast your website loads and if it loads slow, that's okay. They break down a list that shows what you need to improve both for desktop devices and mobile devices, so that way your website can load extremely fast. Make sure your website loads extremely fast. Check out those tools, they work really well, and will help you rank #1 in google. Google Adwords Tutorial 2019 with Step by Step Walkthrough

20:40
Get Your Free Online Store Success Pack Here: http://www.effectiveecommerce.com/ESAdwords/ This video will be showing you the different steps in creating your first ad in Google AdWords. I will be walking you through the below five processes: 1.Keyword Research (8:09) 2. Setup a Campaign (10:39) 3. Setup an Adgroup (11:33) 4. Setup Adwords (13:53) 5. Advance Features (17:07) First and foremost, you need to have a Gmail account. Sign up for one if you don’t have it yet. Once your account is set up, you can proceed to adwords.com then click “Start Now.” Keyword Research This step involves figuring out what someone would type in Google to find your product and try to find keywords related to it. You can do this with the Google Keyword Planner, a free tool that Google gives you. In order to get access to this, you need to create your first ad. Once done, go to Tools and then click Keyword Planner. If you already have a list of keywords and you just want to find the search volume and forecast of how many clicks, click on “Get search volume and forecast.” However, I recommend for beginners to find new keywords. Type in words that you think will be used in searching for your product in the search area and you will be shown the keywords. Repeat this process and find as many keywords as possible. Setup a Campaign Go to “All Campaigns”, click on the Plus (+) sign, then “New Campaign.” Click on “Search” for Search Ads. These are ads that come up when one searches on Google. Click on “Website Traffic” and at the bottom part , type in the URL of the website you want to send the traffic to. Type in the campaign name. In setting up your campaign, below are some ways on how you can save some money: Uncheck “Include Google search partners” Uncheck “Include Google Display Network” Only select locations which are suitable for you For budget, you can start with $5/day for beginners. For delivery method, choose between Standard and Accelerated. Accelerated means Google will spend your budget as quickly as possible. Standard means that spending will happen within the course of the day. Change the ad schedule Setup an Adgroup Adgroup are words that when people search in Google your ad will show for. There are different match types for your keywords: Broad match, Phrase match, and Exact match. Broad match - In this match type, a person can type in anything they want and your ad will still show up. This match type lets Google create synonyms for you. For this, I recommend that you use Modified Broad match instead, which is putting a plus sign in front of the keyword, to save a lot of money. Phrase match - Regardless if there are words before or after the keyword phrase, your ad will show up. Exact match - Your ad will only show up if a person keys in the exact words. If there is anything added to it, your ad will not show up Setup Adwords You can search on Google and see what comes up with keywords. Below are also some tips for writing a good headline: Include the keyword that you are targeting Include a number if possible to make it standout from a bunch of texts Talk about the benefit of your product Ensure that you make good use of the description part. Remember that you will be paying every time someone clicks on it. The more clicks you get, the cheaper you will be paying for each click. One tip that will also make you save a lot of money is to focus your campaign on computers. In my case, I find that computers have a much higher conversion rate. Click on a specific campaign and then “Devices.” For the other devices, click on decrease then 100%. Advance Features Adding negative keywords - If any of the words included in the negative keywords are included in someone’s search query, your ad will not show up. This is useful especially for broad match and phrase match types. Some common negative keywords include discount, target, walmart, amazing. You can also go to ubersuggest.org, type in the keywords and you can see other words that are added. From there, you can figure out which words are good and not. Adding negative keyword list - You can group your negative keywords together and apply it to multiple campaigns. Google Ads Editor - This software allows you to edit in bulk. If you are planning to upload a lot of campaigns and accounts, it is a great tool use instead of going through the campaigns manually. The most important thing to remember about AdWords is you are constantly testing. You are not going to get it right the first time. You may lose money at first, but you are paying for information. You are paying for knowledge for what works and what does not. Ecommerce SEO - Get Traffic to Your Online Store [Top 4 Factors]

08:59
This video will show you how to use Ecommerce SEO to get more traffic (and customers) to your online store. How? By focusing on the top 4 most critical ranking factors that go into ranking ecommerce websites. Of course, I cover all 4 of these factors in the video. But I'll also list them here as a reference. First up, we have your site's overall link authority. This is determined by the quality and quantity of the backlinks pointing to your site. The thing is, most ecommerce sites think that they can rank with product and category pages alone. But you can't. Like any website, backlinks are important for ecommerce sites. I show you how to build links to your ecommerce site in the beginning of the video. Next up, we have product page optimization. Most of your organic search engine traffic will likely go to your product pages. And I show you the 4 steps that I use to optimize product pages quickly. Once your most important pages are optimized, it's time to dig into your site architecture. This is something that's more technical SEO focused, but it can make or break your ecommerce SEO efforts (that's because your site likely has hundreds or even thousands of pages). The organization of these (also known as your website architecture) is key. Lastly, it's time to optimize your URLs. I reveal some data about which URLs tend to rank best in Google. SUBSCRIBE to get higher rankings and more traffic! http://www.youtube.com/subscription_center?add_user=backlinko

Google Ads Tutorial For Beginners 2019 - Google AdWords Tutorial For Search Campaigns

40:05
Check out our Google Ads Tutorial 2019 for Beginners. Our Google AdWords Tutorial is updated for 2019 and we cover everything you need to know about creating your first Google Ads search campaign. Google Ads can be very difficult to figure out, especially when you are just getting started. Some of the things we cover for Google Ads include conversion tracking, setting up your Google Ads account, using Google Ads rather than Google Ads express, connecting your Google Analytics account, creating a Google AdWords campaign, setting up your campaign to drive sales and leads, creating ad groups, targeting keywords, keyword match types, location targeting, creating ads, bidding strategies, and publishing your campaign. Google Ads Tutorial: https://surfsideppc.com/google-ads-tutorial/ Surfside PPC Newsletter: https://surfsideppc.com/newsletter/ You can support Surfside PPC by subscribing to our channel, sharing our videos, and going to our recommended marketing products and services page: Recommended Marketing Products and Services: https://surfsideppc.com/marketing/ Google Ads Home: https://ads.google.com/home/ Google Analytics Home: https://analytics.google.com/analytics/web/ It can be challenging when you are getting started, so hopefully our Google Ads Tutorial gives you all the information you need to get started. We highly recommend watching the video all the way through because we packed it full of details and information that you need to know. We started by setting up the Google Ads account, which was a common question we received from our previous tutorial. We set-up a brand new account for our website. You also need to make sure you set-up a Google Analytics account for your website as well, which is a very simple process. Once you have your Google AdWords and Google Analytics accounts created, you want to link them through the Linked Accounts button under the Google Ads Tools button at the top. Once you have your accounts linked, you will have Auto-Tagging enabled in Google Ads, which allows you to track your campaigns in Google Analytics. Next, we go over conversion tracking. You first need to create Goals and Conversion Goals in your Google Analytics account. You can create ecommerce goals or create goals based on several other factors. For example, you can track forms, video views, giveaway submissions, transactions, and more. Once you have Goals created in Google Analytics, you can import your Goals into Google Ads, which will allow you to do conversion tracking for your campaigns. Conversion tracking will help you optimize your Google Ads campaigns and get the most out of your budget. Once you have your accounts linked and conversions imported into Google Ads, you are ready to create your first search campaign. You want to go to the Campaign screen and click on the button to add a new campaign, then select Search campaign, and set your goal of Sales, Leads, or Website Traffic. We usually choose sales or leads because it will let you optimize your budget and your campaign. Then, you can start setting up your campaign by naming the campaign, choosing your budget, adding additional audiences, choosing your location targeting, language targeting, bidding strategy, and setting up Google Ads Ad Extensions like Sitelink Extensions and Callout Extensions. Next, you will start setting up your Ad Groups. You can optimize for a great quality score and Ad rank by setting up organized Ad Groups and an organized campaign. The better you group your keywords into Ad Groups, the better the user experience you are giving to potential customers. We talk about Keyword Match Types like modified broad match, broad match, phrase match, and exact match keywords. We set-up all of our Ad Groups and then click continue to start creating our Ads. You will be setting up Google Search Ads and we recommend created 3 ads for each ad group. Once you set-up your ads, you can click submit and your campaign will be created. Our preferred bidding strategies are Target CPA bidding and Target ROAS bidding.

SEO For Beginners: 3 Powerful SEO Tips to Rank #1 on Google in 2019

09:21
SEO For Beginners: 3 Powerful SEO Tips to Rank #1 on Google in 2019 Are you new to SEO and want to rank #1 on google this upcoming year? Here are 3 SEO strategies that will boost your rankings! #1: Focus on content Google has this update called Hummingbird, and with Hummingbird, websites who just have content on everything won't do as well as sites which focus on one single niche and are super thorough. You want to be VERY thorough with your SEO content. Poke holes in your content and fill them all up, so then that way people are like, "This is the end all site "that you should end up reading "if you're interested in dating online." #2: Optimize your title tag and your meta description Have you ever done a Google search, and noticed that every time you do it, there is this link at the top, and then there's this one sentence with a link at the top is called the title tag. And the description below is called the meta description. Now think of it this way, if you search for the phrase online dating, and you don't see the word online dating in neither the title or the description, are you going to click on the result? Well if you are, there's something wrong, because why would you click on a result that isn't related to what you're looking for? In addition to that, have you ever searched for a term like online dating? And have you ever noticed that the word isn't in the title or description? That's because Google tracks who's clicking on what listing, and they've learned that when a keyword is in the listing, that same keyword that you're searching for, they know you're way more likely to click through. So in your title tag and your meta description, make sure you include the keyword. But you can't just add the keyword, "online dating," right? The easiest way and what I would do and I wish it was this simple; I will just put "online dating, online dating, online dating, online dating." If I could put it 20 times so people would know that the article is on online dating, I wish I would get more clicks. But it's not that simple. Yes you have to include the keyword in your title and your description, but it has to be appealing. If it doesn't flow in a sentence, it's not easy to read, and it's not appealing or evoking curiosity, no one is gonna click through. #3: Use Google Search Console Did you know that Google gives you a tool that teaches you how to rank number one on Google? Yes I know that sounds ridiculous but it is true, and it's called Google Search Console. If you're not already a user of it, sign up. It doesn't cost a dollar. You're missing out if you're not using it. I can't emphasize that enough. So now that you're using Google Search Console...give it a few days because it takes some time to populate data. You'll see a screen that shows Search Analytics and this shows you all the pages on your website that are getting you traffic. But the cool thing about Google Search Console is they also show you which articles are getting impressions. Take all the keywords you're getting impressions for and start adding them to your copy. Now we have an article on Instagram, and it teaches you how to get over 300 targeted Instagram followers per day. The article is around 10,000 words. When I first wrote that article, it wasn't 10,000 words, it was roughly 2,500. I went to Google Search Console, I saw all the people that are searching for terms related to the article, I added them within that article. I made it more thorough and you know what? My SEO traffic more than tripled to that article. Yes it is that simple. And when I made that change, it didn't happen right away, but I noticed the results within 50 days. That's not a long time. Now that you've learned these three tips, I challenge you in which I want you to take these tactics and implement them, and then after you implement them, in the next 45 days I want you to leave a comment with your results. Because if you're not doing well, that means I'm not happy. How to Find Negative Keywords in Adwords

11:35
Get Your Free Online Store Success Pack Here: http://www.effectiveecommerce.com/ESAdwords/ Adwords and PLAs http://effectiveecommerce.com/adwordscourse In this video I'm gonna show you three ways to find negative keywords for your AdWords campaign and this is a crucial step a lot of people forget about this step a lot of people don't add any negative keywords to their campaigns which is just a big mistake and this video this is actually an example from the AdWords and product listing ads course that I just launched you can click up here to find out more information or down below but let's get right into it. So the three different techniques I'm gonna show you step by step how to use all these I'm gonna do a little screen share here in just a second I'll show you how to use all these and the three different techniques are number one uber suggests number two the keyword planner and number three is actually using your own data actually reviewing your campaigns and this is number three is the most powerful way I'd say number two is the most common way most people know about number two and then number one Uber suggests it's probably my favorite way if you want to find a lot of negative keywords before you spend a dollar uBersuggests is the best and the keyword planner is number two but number three option actually finding negative keywords from your own data which I'll show you how to do is it's extremely powerful in the sense that you're you you can guarantee that you're wasting money on these and it's a good way to make sure you're not wasting any more money and I'll show you how to do all three of these in this video the first way to find negative keywords in one of my favorite ways is ubersuggest and this is a real like a nice trick you can just google ubersuggest or go to over suggest dot IO and this is actually different version of ubersuggest than I used in the past. Let me show you what it does if you type in nut butter basically what it's doing is it scraping Google for this information let me show you. So if you type in nut butter into Google you'll see the most commonly searched for things type in the letter A you'll see all the most commonly typed in things with the with an a coming afterwards B C D and it takes all that data in it gives it to you in a very convenient form. So we see here a B seen a ABC butter about peanut butter all natural peanut butter but this isn't exactly what I wanted oh okay it's because I had the Google Keyword planner also checked let's do it without that all right almond nut butter one kilogram. So I start finding some negative keywords and you can click this next to it because almond for me doesn't describe my product at all best nut butter 2015 mmm I'd say maybe the 2015 would be Blendtec because I don't have anything to do with Blendtec people looking for Blendtec nut butter jar are probably looking for recipes or something like that butternut 50-150. So one thing I might do is make an exact or make a phrase match of butter nuts a negative keyword because anyone typing in the word butter nut is looking for something different than nut butter butter nut this this kirbys whatever butternut squash I probably use butternut as a negative keyword let's see what else do you have here I mean I could just go on and on and once you're done once you've clicked as many as you can and there's a few different pages what you can do is export to CSV let me show you it'll come up. So you'll get this information here and you can go through and you can just delete everything that except for the things a one-kilogram actually would also be a negative keyword. So for me 2015 I don't that's a negative keyword blendtec that's a negative keyword butternut is a negative keyword phrase and then this Durban team that's butternut and squash I'll make both those a negative keywords and ultimately you can save this file and use it and add it to your Adwords the next thing we're gonna look at is the Google Adwords Keyword planner. So go ahead and log in here and once you're logged in you'll see the geek the keyword planner up in the top right go up to this tools and then keyword planner and you'll see it here. So this is one of the more common ways that people find negative keywords I think it's good it'll help you find things you never would have thought about let's go start over I just go search for new keywords nut butter good ideas and right off the bat you can start adding them over here. So almond butter peanut butter organic is not a keyword I use cashew butter is good maker. Assume all links in the video & description are affiliate links and that by using them you are supporting the channel, so thank you!

Google Adwords Tutorial with Step by Step Walkthrough

24:22
Get Your Free Online Store Success Pack Here: http://www.effectiveecommerce.com/ESAdwords/ Adwords Course: http://www.effectiveecommerce.com/AdwordsCourse/ In this video, I'm gonna do a complete start to finish AdWords tutorial and walkthrough I'm gonna show it via screen share we're gonna go over everything you need to know to set up an AdWords campaign we're stuff from the very beginning and do keyword research to find good keywords that we should be bidding on then we're gonna take those keywords make some ad groups make some ads and I'll show you how to write powerful ad copy after that we're gonna do everything we need to do to complete the campaign including adding things like negative keywords I'm gonna show you how to do all this step-by-step via screen share in just a moment and this is actually a lesson from my adwords and product listing ads course it's a full course you can find out more information about up here or down below but now let's get into the actual video the first thing we're gonna do is obviously you need to sign up for Gmail if you don't already have Gmail. You can access Adwords but after that we're gonna do some keyword research figure out which keywords to do and then we're gonna build the ad and talk about negative keywords some of my tips for that as well as how to review the ads and some different advanced tactics and techniques. So once you have a gmail account which I already do up here you're just gonna click on AdWords like Google AdWords click on there go ahead and click start now and there is a bunch of coupons online I tried to quickly find some coupons before this tutorial I saw one for $75 it's okay you can set up your AdWords account and always add a coupon later. So performance nut butter calm alright. So that's my website you put your website in right there I'm just gonna link it with my regular AdWords account that's one of the consulting accounts I did Keith Keith hammocks right there you probably won't see that screen all right. So it's loading up it'll just take a second here and this is the new view and you can switch to the old view which I probably will later on but for now let's go ahead and use the new view poke around here a little bit the very first thing you're gonna want to do is if you click up here let's see here. So this layouts a little bit different than it used to be the keyword planner is where I always recommend people start and just to give you an idea of my products because obviously depending on your product it's gonna be different how you what kind of keywords you look for is going to be different. My product it's a it's a keto paleo vegan snack it's a macadamia coconut Kashi blended nut butter comes in these little pouches. So I'm gonna try to think of keywords that people would be searching for in Google to find it. So the first thing that comes to mind is macadamia butter maybe cocoa coconut butter if people are searching for these they might be interested in my product a keto snack paleo snack I probably just I'll leave it to those for for now and then we'll think about more as we go and let's go ahead and get some ideas okay. So this will do a few different things one of the things is it'll tell me the average monthly searches right here for these different keywords. So that's half the battle I see that keto snacks has quite a lot of searches and look at macadamia butter it's the the bids are really cheap. So this data is very important the bids are pretty cheap but at the same time there's not a lot of search volume the next step is let's say macadamia butter because that seems interesting to me that the the search is. So cheap what are people looking for. So look what comes up here that's some that's macadamia nut butter but a lot of it is well the first ones homemade macadamia nut butter. So the one negative thing is when someone searches for macadamia nut butter they might just be looking to how to make their own macadamia nut butter they might not be looking to buy it but this is a look like that's a company here and that's a company here. So that's the first thing I would do kudos snacks is another one that's interesting to me because there's not a lot of keto snacks and I want to show you an example instead of just saying keto giant snacks I might say ketogenic snacks and let's see if that comes up with a different result give it a second loads and look at that it's slightly different it's more targeted down it's and it saves you a little bit money.
