How to Add Color, Texture & Shadows | Fashion Sketching

Watch more How to Draw Fashion Sketches videos: http://www.howcast.com/videos/501940-How-to-Add-Color-Texture-and-Shadows-Fashion-Sketching Learn how to add color, texture, and shadows to a fashion sketch from fashion designer Garo Sparo in this Howcast video. This is how you indicate color, texture and pattern. I prefer to use colored pencils, they're great because you can get all sorts of harder lines and what not, and then you can smudge it all over the place to give yourself more depth and shadow. So I’m going to go with these three colors, different shades of blue for this dress, and just start of really, really light. I’m going to connect my colors across giving a beautiful butterfly inspired design. And I’m going to go in with another color. And this particular dress is going to be made out of a very smooth mesh, so the texture itself that I’m trying to accomplish here is something that is just smooth, and just not too textured. So that’s a challenge in itself but it seems like it’s working out for me. After you’ve done all of your light shading, I think I’m going to leave some panels of white in there, which will look cool. Now you go back in and you do harder lines wherever you think there should be a shadow. And usually if you’re doing a dead on sketch, somebody that is facing dead on to you, all the shadows are going to be on the sides of their body, et cetera, et cetera. You can create a source of light if you want, but pretty much it’s like looking in the mirror, and take a look at yourself and where the shadows fall on your body. Don’t worry about these hard lines that you’re making because you go in later with your smudge stick, which is a wonderful thing, everyone should have a smudge stick, and blend all of this together. And you want to kind of like, anything that's falling to the back of your design, you want to give it a little bit more color, because that’s just saying it’s in the back and it’s shadowing it more. So I think I’m going to keep that white in there. So now I’m going to go in with my smudge stick handy dandy, and now you want to blend. You don’t want to mix your colors, so if you get too much of a blue in one corner of your smudge stick, you can chop it off, you can do all kinds of things. But I’m just going to rotate it and do it with a purple with that, which I got to do a little bit more purple shading here. I’m losing my shading. And now as the final step, just to indicate that this is mesh, I’m going to go over certain sections of the garment and just kind of create a meshy pattern. You don’t have to cover the entire thing, it’s just to get a notion of what is the fabric choice. I’m doing it on the white sections because it will show up the best. And that’s how you indicate color, shadow and texture.

How to Trace a Photograph | Fashion Sketching

03:48
Watch more How to Draw Fashion Sketches videos: http://www.howcast.com/videos/501933-How-to-Trace-a-Photograph-Fashion-Sketching Learn how to trace a photograph from fashion designer Garo Sparo in this Howcast video. This is how you trace a photograph. It's actually a handy tool if you're not the best sketcher, if you want some strange body position, what have you. Find a pose that I like, and something that's very important in this process is tracing paper, nice and sheer, comes in all sorts of weight, etc. All right, here we go. You get your tracing paper centered beautifully over your photograph, and of course you're going to need your mechanical pencil, because you're going to make a mistake, who knows, you want to be able to erase it. So you want to start out by just concentrating on the silhouette. Use your pencil, you can erase it if you mess up, it's a great thing. And, you know, you're just worrying about silhouette right now, you could always go back in and do the details later. I pick this particular pose because she is doing something very unusual with her body, and it's probably the ones that you'll want to trace, you know. I want to trace something interesting. I don't know how I feel about her sweater, so I'm just going to eliminate her sweater altogether and go with her arms. So basically you want to take from this her body silhouette. It's almost like you're looking through with x-ray vision and see what her body's doing underneath. It's a good way to like study how the body bends and moves, and it will give you some versatility to your sketching. Here's her neck, her ear, face at a really strange angle, which is cool. And you know you can always go in later and do all your shading, but right now we're just going to worry about just tracing the photograph. And if you really just want to trace the outfit itself, you can do that too. I'll just go ahead and trace what she has on. But as I said, I'm not a big fan of the sweater, so we're going to ignore the sweater. I'm just going to do her in a short little dress she's got on. I'm going to add some of my own design elements because I'm not thrilled with this design. This is also just a great way to build your sketching skills, because it gets you really comfortable with a pencil, you know, it just gets your hand into the motion of doing all of this. I'm even going to draw her shoes, because her shoes are pretty fabulous. I give her her sunglasses, her nose, which is almost strange when I took the tracing paper off, but you go back in and fix all your details later. Every once in a while you lift the tracing paper off the page, just to see if you've missed any elements. All right, so now we can pull it all off, and this is how you trace a photograph. It's a great way to get really comfortable with a pencil, or create a new fashion croquis.

Fashion shoe tutorial

06:06
First of all, start drawing the primary shape in which later on you will draw the shoes.Do not use black pencils because you will need the surface as clean as possible for the shading part. Do not forget that if you construct something in line, you will need double the time to shade it. After drawing the big volume, try to underline the areas that will be covered with different grays: light or dark grays, highlights or deep shadows. If you think you will use your eraser to erase some parts of your drawing in order to add the light, well, you will see how wrong this is. When tracing the areas that you will have to shade, think from the beginning of the parts where the light will be placed and just leave those parts empty. Just leave it white as the paper background. If you need to erase something, do it with an eraser in shape of a pencil. This kind of tool will help you be precise and sharp. regarding the pencil, when this one becomes to be short, use a dry marker that you want to throw away and simply stick your small pencil into the plastic part of your marker. This will allow you to use the pencil until it gets very very small. If you draw a lot, you will see that sometimes it happen to consume one-two pencils, especially if they are very greasy, meaning 6 to 8B. Another tip I could give you is to start drawing and especially shading from left to right, because like this, you won't leave any traces on the white paper. When studying, keep in mind the aspect of each texture. This time, the plastic surface will have a lot of reflexes, lights and shadows, one next to the other. The passing between light and shadow could be very sharp so get used to it. The second shoe is darker than the first one, because there is the shadow that makes that possible. At the end, be bold and underline some parts that are in shadow. This ensures a nice contrast and makes the drawing look tridimensional. And that's it. Good luck with the drawing, and, as always, I am waiting for your comments and suggestions below. Thank you for subscribing! See you in the week-end.

How to Finish a Sketch | Fashion Sketching

03:23
Watch more How to Draw Fashion Sketches videos: http://www.howcast.com/videos/501961-How-to-Finish-a-Sketch-Fashion-Sketching Learn about finishing fashion sketches from fashion designer Garo Sparo in this Howcast video. And now we're to the point of finishing your fashion sketches. So now we want to think about what color skin she's going to have, tweaking her hair, doing outlines, shoes . . . etc. So I'm going to start with doing all of my inking in, it's just how we just sharpen our lines so that you can see the design lines of the garment. Don't go too hard on there, you don't want to look like a cartoon, even though it is kind of cartoony, you know, it's just my style. You just want to make sure every little single detail is obvious and make sense on the body. I'll give her some shoes now, nice and, serious stiletto pump, the middle heel, I love it. I'm just going to kind of let her have short, slicked hair, give her some ears, now I want to color in her skin. I'm going to think about like, what is her skin tone. It's all the same technique with shading, where you just kind of go light through the middle, and just shade all around the details. You want to give her some chic phones, and give her a little cleavage, so it'll boost the A dress. On the legs, you want to go really hard on the outside with the color pencil. Anything that's in shadow, and since this leg is behind her, we want to just kind of fill this leg in much darker. Okay, now we can just go lighter with this pencil over it. I'm using a very soft lead pencil on this, so that I don't have to smudge it, because skin tone is tricky, because you could end up smudging all kinds of things all over this base or the body that you just got finished coloring. And one thing that is very important, when you're done with the entire situation, is considering that I used some pastels on this, I used some color pencils . . . etc., etc., I don't want it to bleed. Now we just want to go around the edges, and we just want to clean it up some, and now, one of the very final steps I've been using pastels, colored pencils, and everything else, if I was just to put this sketch away right now, it would smudge all over the place. So one thing you have to do is spray on a fixative, and that's just the simple process, you just, like, take your sketch, and just give it one little sweep over. If you don't have fixative, or you don't have the cash, and you have some hairspray laying around, it does the same thing, so basically it's like hairspray that is just gonna taut your sketch to keep it from smudging all over the place. And that, my friends, is finishing a fashion sketch.

How to Shade Depth | Fashion Sketching

01:53
Watch more How to Draw Fashion Sketches videos: http://www.howcast.com/videos/501960-How-to-Shade-Depth-Fashion-Sketching Learn about shading depth on fashion sketches from fashion designer Garo Sparo in this Howcast video. Once you've gotten your base color on there, it's really important to go in and shade and color your fashion illustration. So what I then do is I take a color pencil, just really work the color into the corner and design lines of the garment. You want to think also about where the light is hitting this garment, so you always want to darken around the edges. You want to kind of carry it up the seam lines a bit to create some saturation. It's another great way if your dress happens to be drapey to show drape, texture, what have you. So I'm going to go in here, really shade in on her waist. You're basically just really driving it home, making it sure that your point is getting across to your viewer. All right, and then I take my handy smudge stick and I just blend, and I could do this for days, you know, one of those things. And that is pretty much how you shade in color, your fashion illustration.

How to draw a fashion sketch like a pro

04:25
I will show you today 3 steps that will help you achieve different skills - when it comes to fashion sketches. First of all, there is the human anatomy for fashion - in my first drawing. You will start with the axes, as always.Do quickly the primary shapes and then the connection between the shapes. This is the first phase of the fashion sketch: the learning of the basic anatomy of the human body. In this stage, it is very important to know the anatomy, the human proportions and also it is very useful to use a soft line because later on you will have to add clothes too. Then, we will get to the second phase of the fashion sketch. With this exercise you will have to reduce your lines, to make them more expressive and to add costume details. Here, the line is very important and also the ability to be creative and to leave your imagination get wild. One of my tips here is to use a dark pencil to have more contrast and strength in line. As about the last step, we will skip all the previous phases, and we will use the imagination of the viewer to fill the blank spaces. On this phase, there is no need to show everything. You will get to this phase after doing a lot of human anatomy exercises, and also line studies. The lines change depending of the light source, as you will see in my next video. The last phase is also very refined, simplified and somehow very close to art. It can be as crazy as possible because this drawing is a way of self-expression. This drawing will reveal your inner you. Try this exercise. And if you want to share it with us, send me an email on [email protected] and i will reply. If you like my video, please share + subscribe. THANK YOU! IOANA

How to Draw a Wedding Dress | Fashion Sketching

05:52
Watch more How to Draw Fashion Sketches videos: http://www.howcast.com/videos/501944-How-to-Draw-a-Wedding-Dress-Fashion-Sketching Learn about drawing a wedding dress in a fashion sketch from fashion designer Garo Sparo in this Howcast video. This is how you draw a wedding dress. When you're rendering a wedding dress, I usually have the potential bride sitting right beside me. So, I have to be really quick. Fluid. The whole nine yards. You kind of want to go big with this. Because, who doesn't want something fancy and glamorous to get married in? So, we start with our silhouette. And, I'm going to go with a mermaid silhouette and have it swing to the back. I'm really big on that. Have her have a nipped-in waist. This is for a skinny bride. She needs to eat something. But, whatever. Let that happen at the wedding. I think I want to do strapless. That would be nice. I'm going to go with a nice V-neckline, which I call the Dragonfly neckline, which is one of my signatures. You want to indicate beading. And, indicating beading can be as simple as little dots. You want to indicate seam lines as well. And, I'm all about long seam lines which hug the body and create beautiful lines in the gown and follow. You want to carry all of your draping lines up. Everywhere where you do a squiggle, you go up. You definitely, if you're drawing for a bride, you definitely want give her a head. A lot of times you can leave the head off but, you want to give her a head. And you want to ask her, "What kind of hair do you want to wear for the ceremony? Are you wearing it up? Are you wearing it down? What have you." She's going to wear her hair up. And you're like, "What are you going to wear? Are you going to wear a veil? Are you going to wear this or that?" We'll give her a veil, which is easy. You just kind of just carry long lines down. She's going to wear a very dramatic veil. You'll then want to harden your lines a bit and go in with ink. And, just kind of just make everything apparent that is going to be the final design. Because, you got to get your point across at your meeting with your bride. I'm not going to go nuts with the pen because I plan on making a white gown and I don't want, I only want an indication of the seam lines. And, see, just use your pencil lines as a reference. Because, you're going to go in with your eraser and erase them anyway afterwards. And, she's going to have opera length gloves. Why not? You want to give her some cleavage, because she is wearing a corset gown. That's the plan, at least. Go really light with your pen. It's really great to have like a fine point pen for this sort of detail. Give her her face. Oh, let me get the bead work dotted on there. And she's going to have some bead work on her little dragonfly lapels, I'll call them. You want to, don't forget, before you erase your pencil you want to, like, add in your bead work, if you're even going to bother. Or if she wants it, or what have you. And I'm doing it down the front and on the lapels. Now, you just go in with your eraser and get rid of all the pencil. All right. So, the tricky thing about white with wedding gowns is you have to think about shading. And I use a very pale grey to create that. Pale warm grey. And, this is probably the only time I use markers. They're not my favorite thing in the world to use. Because, it just takes a little bit of mastering to just get these lines right. And, I know it looks brown. But, it's just to indicate. You're going to go in with some white later. Once you've done that, you have your blender, which is basically just a clear marker to kind of just, like, bring that color in. And shade it in. And, it may look like it's turning the whole thing grey, but that will fade. Then you take your China marker, which is a great thing for creating details on black or white. To just to kind of just make certain things pop. And, just kind of just fill in the whole thing. It just will make it lighten up. It will blend everything together. And there you have it. That's how you draw a wedding gown.

How to Draw Pants | Fashion Sketching

Watch more How to Draw Fashion Sketches videos: http://www.howcast.com/videos/501947-How-to-Draw-Pants-Fashion-Sketching Learn how to draw pants for a fashion sketch from fashion designer Garo Sparo in this Howcast video. And this is how you draw women's pants. First of all, you think about the style of pant you want to draw. I'm really big on high-waisted this year, so I'm going to go with a high-waisted pant. And I'm going to go with a riding pant type shape, something very skin tight, but then I'm going to give it a little kick out at the bottom, a little bit of a diagonal flair. I have a little heel sticking out. She's wearing serious platform shoes. And it depends on the style of pant that you're wanting to draw about how fluid you want to make the lines. These are fitted so there's not that much fluidity to them, but if you want, and you want to draw like an elephant style pant, which is a very wide leg pant, you can just create different folds, et cetera, et cetera, to create your seam lines. One thing that's really important with pants is to have your front fly or whatever your closures are. So this particular pair of pants is going to have a front fly, and you just basically indicate that by drawing down the center of the pant and then creating with a dotted line, the stitch line, that will create where the zipper will end. You then create another dotted line to show where that seam will end. You also have to think about pockets, and for this I'm going to do, just like a simple, well, it's not that simple. Everything I do is not that simple. Simple pocket, I'll call it simple, that basically is built into the seam. So these right here are pockets, and to indicate where this pocket ends, you can do little dotted lines, because they'll be stitched down, so that your stuff doesn't fall out of your pockets. And then I'm going to put this pant with just like a skin tight turtleneck. Why not? I'll indicate the folds of the turtleneck. I know this is about pants, but you've got to, you can't just have a pair of pants sitting on a page. Do all your final touches and then you're ready to ink this in, color it in, shade it, et cetera. Add texture if you like. And that is how you draw pants.

How to Draw a Dress | Fashion Sketching

Watch more How to Draw Fashion Sketches videos: http://www.howcast.com/videos/501941-How-to-Draw-a-Dress-Fashion-Sketching Learn how to draw a dress for a fashion sketch from fashion designer Garo Sparo in this Howcast video. This is how you draw a dress. First of all, you want to sketch out your croquis. This way you have something that you can erase later, and you can design without worrying about too many details. Just kind of think about what silhouette you want to do. I'm going to do a bateau neck, which is basically a boat neck, simple jersey dress. It has some flow just under the waist, just to give you a little bit of a kick in the hip, looks like a cute little summer dress. And just part of being a designer is just developing your esthetic, you just really have to just keep drawing nonstop, and then it will just come to you. But after I've drawn the dress, I then can over it in ink. And I did something that's very simple here, this is just a jersey dress, which jersey, of course, is just a stretchy, simple fabric. You do your outlines, draw in your drapiy-ness if you want it to happen, and then you go in with your eraser and get rid of all of your pencil lines. Et voila, that's how you draw a dress.

Style Exploration How to Draw a Stylish Face Fashion Illustration on Procreate App

12:34
Style Exploration how to Draw a Stylish Face Fashion Illustration on Procreate App On this video, I do three sketches, one pre-form drawing, a pencil sketch to put the facial features and a third Ink sketch to clean up the line work. I also made the side of the face closest to the observer lighter than the other side. Because I was going for a Rembrandt light look. This can be achieved by using thinner lines on the lighter side of the face. This is why it is important to mind the thickness of lines and the amount you are drawing in. Cleaning up the line work will make the piece stylish and minimalistic. Also, the rule used in art to create distance dictates that the closest part of the drawing will be darker. The farther it is, the light it becomes. I chose to brake that rule as usually Rembrandt lighting will make the farthest part of the face darker and the closest lighter. MUSIC CREDITS-Elaine Biss. Watch more How to Draw Fashion Sketches videos: http://www.howcast.com/videos/501928-How-to-Draw-a-Figure-Fashion-Sketching Learn how to draw a figure for a fashion sketch from fashion designer Garo Sparo in this Howcast video. All right. So let's draw a figure. One thing I always start out with a pencil, because you can always erase it, and it's a good way to just get the basis going. So I always start with the head. Just think about proportion as you're doing it. The head, then the neck. We do a straight line under the neck. A good trick is to make an X here for the body. And it's great that we're doing this in pencil, as I said before, because all of this can go away later. From here, we work with a lot of elongated triangles. I'm going have this girl have her hand on her hip. So I'm doing these elongated triangles, even a little triangle for the hand, because you're going to smooth it out later. We'll give her a little arm, hanging down. It can even cross into the hand, as I just did. We'll give her some legs, and you basically segment the legs into triangles. This is how you establish the kneecaps, you do like little inverted triangle that way. And even a little inverted triangle for the foot, as well. All right. Now we go in and we smooth it all out. She kind of has a short neck, but I'm not that concerned, I can always erase that and fix it, so whatever. Basically drawing her outer silhouette now. I'll give her some bust, give her some hips. This is such a great trick because everybody knows how to draw a triangle, and then you're just smoothing over, smoothing over. She's turning out on the curvier side, but I can always fix that later as well. I'll give her her feet. Which I probably want her in high heels. All right. So, once you've gotten this process down, you've gotten it all smoothed out, you're happy with this, you're happy with that, and in fashion illustration you always elongate the form. And the reason why is you have more room to render the clothing. And that is why we make them so tall and lanky. It gives us more space to render details. Okay, now I go in with my pen. I like a nice roller pen, you can use felt tip, whatever you like. And I ink it all in. I hate drawing hands, but I will give a good attempt for you. I'll just give her like a weird mitten, but whatever, you can fix that later. That's why we have White-Out. It's never a bad idea just to put her hands behind her body, because it's all about the clothes, it's really not about her hands. And even if I'm doing these lines kind of feathery, you can always go over it again later with a thicker pen and really tighten it up. I'll give her some calves, a foot, and I'll have her have some high-heeled shoes on. She's pivoting her foot out. I'll lose this calf on this side and give her a calf on that side that tells me that her foot is being pivoted out. I'll give her a crotch. All right, so I've done the basic structure, so now I go in with my eraser and I get rid of all of the pencil. That arm is not pretty, but whatever, I can fix that later. So after a few little corrections, she'll be good to go, you can scan her into your computer. And that's how you draw a figure.

How to draw rings

06:23
First start with the big volumes. Never draw the details at the beginning. We will use soft lines, so for this you don't need greasy, 8B pencils. 2 or 4B will be enough. After drawing the parallelepiped, draw an ellipse to each side of the primary shape. Trace the diagonals and the half-segments of each side of the parallelepiped. After this, start by tracing the ellipses - first the opposite arcs and then the other pair of arcs to form the ellipse. As you will observe to all the objects in the world, everything has front and lateral sides and also a thickness, and you will soon see how to draw it.The thickness will follow the contour of the ellipse created. We build the jewel from primary shapes and this exercise is here to help you just draw the jewel. But when thinking how to design a jewelry, in this case, the ring, you could get inspired by primary shapes to create simple designs. For example, you could change the ring form from round to square or triangle or you could play with the shape of the stone: could it be a sphere? a cone? a cylinder? a prism? Don't think to much of how the ring will be,just play with the primary shapes. In this exercise, I will show you how to create 6 easy shapes that can be useful when drawing rings. No matter what you construct, keep in mind that you need axes, primary shapes and then connections. This formula is applied to any drawing you will me from now on, not only in fashion design. The first ring has a simple shape, it is the basic wedding ring. The second one I will draw in 2 different positions so that you can see how to draw it from up or down. The most important thing is to draw the ellipses in their own let's say box. This will help you draw them perfectly. The line should be very simple and for that, see the videos named "Backstage"where I explained what kind of exercises you should do to train your hand. Do not use multiple lines, try to draw the lines from one single stroke if possible. For the third, fourth and fifth ring we start with the boxes in which we will draw the ellipses. Same thing as in the first row. See once again how to construct the ellipses and their thickness. None of them should end in a single line, but in a doubled line, for the thickness. The last 2 rings are showing 3 different types of sections: rectangular, rounded on the exterior and on the interior. Another exercise is to draw the same object in multiple positions. If you do it right, this will mean that you are quite advanced now. It is difficult to imagine how a ring could look like in many different positions, especially if you don;t cheat and if you have one ring lying on the surface. Don't move it from that position, but once you draw the first ring, I am sure you will be able to sketch it in any view. We draw a ring lying flat on the table. We build the rhombus in which we will frame the ellipse. Like before, we will follow the same steps of construction. See how easy it becomes when you know the principles and when you just play with the positions of the primary shape in which later you will fit the ellipses. I draw the same ring bigger and bigger just to show you the fact that it does not matter if the same ring is smaller or big in the same composition, but if the proportions of the ring are kept in every single drawing. Now that you can draw any ring in any position, let's get to the shading part. Once the ring is sketched, use the principles of gradient, light and shadow to, let's say, color the surface. And now, let's see some simple forms you can create and get yourself inspired first and then create your own jewels. See where I put the shadows and lights and do the same. Decide from the beginning the lighted area or where the light comes from and, in function of this, shade the jewel. Of course that the ring can have more contrast or it can be light in shading, depending on the light source or on the material of the ring. The ring can be in plastic and dark gray, so this means even in the light part you will use dark gray to fill the shape. At the end, do not forget to leave the reflexes in white and also, keep in mind that each form should be hatched on its generator line. For this, see also my hatching tutorials. Thank you!

How to shade pearls and leather

06:59
As a result of your engagement in 2014 ( and this means hundreds of comments, likes, shares and emails received), for 2015 I decided to increase the number of my videos posted in order to reply with a video to all of you who were interested in something particular related to fashion design and illustration. Therefore, I will introduce you my design teacher, Dorin Sandru, who is invited to show us some principles of shading that he teaches to his students, at the University of Art and Design. I kindly asked Dorin to share with us some techniques he uses when teaching. For today, he will show us how to shade pearls and leather texture in pencils. Unlike the drawing part, the shading takes usually double the time. For example, if you need 3 hours to draw something, you will definitely need 6 hours to shade that drawing or to color it. First, you have to draw the contour of the spheres. When drawing anything you have to make sure your constructed the form, the exterior contour of the desired object you want to shade. Make sure you establish your light source because in function of this, the pearls will have a certain color and reflections. We will shade the pearls like you shade spheres, on their generating line. The formula we use is light, light gray, dark gray, black, reflection. This formula is applied to any objects you want to shade, so keep it in mind. Use gradient as shading technique and keep your arm almost perpendicular when shading. If there is the case, use a white sheet of paper under your hand because like this you will keep the paper clean. In this drawing the source of light is upper left. The spheres are drawn using a soft line. After drawing underline the areas where the light and shadow of each sphere will be positioned. once you get the principle of shading one pearl, the rest will easily come. Give the pearls a glossy finish. Do not use pencil in the white spaces. You can shade them very soft or leave them white, just make sure you will make a nice transition between the light and shadow areas. If it is easier for you, you can rotate the image when shading. We did not do this now to help you see the shading process better. Also, your position when drawing should be relaxed and comfortable just to make sure you will be focused only on the drawing. And now, let's see how to shade the reptile leather. Again, the light source comes from upper left. Draw the contour of the textured area respecting the pattern. And now, keeping in mind the direction of the light source, start shading. First we add the large surfaces leaving white the reflection of each scale. From up to down, you will see that not only the scale respect the light, light gray, dark gray, black and reflex formula but also the full texture. This means the upper part is in the light and the lower is hidden in the darkness. Between the scales you will fill those spaces with black to give the impression of tridimensional.

Fashion Your Own Light Table, Artists! Make your own drafting table too!

15:03
I show you how you can make an effective light table for creating art on tracing paper and also when you need to modify a design. I also show you the copper drafting table I designed and built featuring my infamous crucified Jesus table top with bleeding nipple rings. Yup, I really did go there. Remember to pray for me. If I go to hell, I’ll be sure to save you a seat at the bar. My back ground is in print advertising as a graphic designer. I have worked for the past 20 years in primarily package design for products that end up on store shelves. However, I am now retired from that industry after getting burned out on promoting and designing art for products I don't believe in. Especially for Big Pharma. May they burn in hell, not that I believe in that sort of thing other than hell on earth, which they are making even worse with the burning scorch of their man made synthetic, toxic chemicals! Advertising is so fucking slimy. They just tell people what they want to hear, make it pretty as possible and people buy it without any further investigation, much like blind faith.
