In this video we'll see some basics of padding in android like creation of the button, asigning some numbers or click listener to the buttons. We see how that things will work. I have created some module something called as uixml in that module. I have one java file and created activity.main file in layout. Now i want to provide some click listeners to the buttons for that we take textview - textview is nothing but lable kind of things. Then asign some sample text say "codekul" after that i increase text size android:textsize="30px" then i want to move text i.e. codekul to the center for that i can't move complete view i need to move content there is something called as padding or gravity. So we write android:gravity="center" then we use margin also, margin is used to shifting the view for that we write android:marginleft="50px". Then we see something about view measurements units means difference between "px", "dp", "dip", and "sp". In this video, we review the following concepts: padding - determines how much space the child widget should have added to make the edge of the parent widget. It does not directly determine the location of the child widget. It only adds space to define borders better. methods/functions - must be in the same class as the widget. Otherwise, must be instantiated or injected into that class. Custom widgets - additional widgets do not need the structural widgets as the root widget does. For now, they just need the same structure as the Stateless Widgets.

2019 Abarth 595 Esseesse - Drive, Interior and Exterior. Subscribe. The amazing Abarth 595 esseesse is back, breathing new life into a name deeply rooted in the brand's history, looking right back to its origins, when the Sixties tuning kits made Karl Abarth's fortune as the inventor of the kits designed to boost the performance of mass production cars. 1964 saw the debut of the first Abarth 595 esseesse, tuned with the aid of a Solex 34 PBIC carburettor and a special intake manifold, cast in a single piece of light alloy with the valve cover, boosting its power to 32 HP. On the outside, the car was recognisable by the rubber ties securing the bonnet instead of the usual lock, replaced by the enamelled Abarth logo. Inside, the "mean little Scorpion" displayed distinctive badges, with the "SS" monogram in capital letters on the bonnet and boot, and "esseesse" in full, in lowercase letters, on the dashboard. And it was an immediate success with Italian sports car enthusiasts. A success repeated in 2009 by the original "esseesse" tuning kit for the new Abarth 500, which appeared in 2008. The tuning increased the engine's power to 160 HP and modified the suspension setup, with Eibach lowering springs, alongside a higher-powered braking system and other clearly racing-inspired contents. What's more, to guarantee compliance with the most demanding control and safety standards, the "esseesse" tuning kit was only installed by the official network of Abarth tuners, who still received it in the famous wooden crate, just like the famous Sixties original. Today, 10 years later, the iconic "esseesse" makes a comeback at the top of the Abarth range, and is equipped with the 180 HP engine, the brand's most powerful. Intended for lovers of sheer performance, the new Abarth 595 combines the Scorpion brand's intrinsic adrenaline and sportiness with distinctive design, style and connectivity characteristics. In the best Abarth tradition, this car is made truly special by specific standard equipment that provides an exciting driving experience, always accompanied by the unmistakable deep roar of the Abarth by Akrapovic exhaust system, custom-developed for Scorpion cars, which combines outstanding performances with an even more exciting sound. The new Abarth 595 esseesse also features a high-performance Brembo front braking system, ensuring outstanding responses and perfect handling, thanks to the perforated, ventilated front brake discs and oversize red brake calipers. Specifically, the system is able to realign the brake pads with the disc's braking surface, for rapid heat dispersal and improved car reactivity when braking. Also standard is the specific air cleaner "by BMC", providing a better intake air flow capacity than conventional cleaners, with obvious benefits for engine combustion quality, power output and, as a consequence, performance. The new Abarth 595 esseesse's equipment is completed by Koni FSD (Frequency Selective Damping) rear suspensions, which optimise the driving experience by ensuring even better road holding, handling and stability, in total safety. Last but not least, the standard outfit also includes navigation with the 7" Uconnect HD touchscreen system, including Abarth Telemetry, Apple CarPlay support and Android AutoTM compatibility*. The lavish standard equipment is accompanied by unique aesthetic features. On the outside, the new Abarth 595 esseesse is identified by 17" Supersport alloy wheels with a new Racing White finish, Abarth side stripes, mirror caps and matching front and rear DAM. To conclude, the new Abarth is "certified" by the specific "esseesse" on its livery which, together with the "70th anniversary" logo, makes this sports car truly unique and exclusive. The Abarth 595 esseesse's racing personality is clearly expressed by "Sabelt 70" sports seats with carbon rear shell, and the carbon pedals. What's more, a whole new range of Sabelt seats is now available on the 595, marking Abarth's 70th birthday with the number 70 embroidered on the cover. These seats are even further improved in their shapes, inserts and padding, for an even more intense driving experience. *Android Auto, Google Play and Google Maps are trademarks of Google LLC. HTML Padding Bottom Using CSS In Detail - HTML Padding Bottom Creates Space On The Right https://youtu.be/3cqDWFm44cY There no such thing as HTML padding-bottom. Padding is defined by CSS and the margin is applied to the HTML.The CSS padding bottom property defines the amount of space between the contents of an element and the top edge of the element. Padding-bottom is most commonly defined using pixels and percentages. CSS padding is different from margins in that margins apply space outside of an element and padding applies space within an element. That's all there is to it. I hope this video helps you! http://www.thesistoolbox.com When styling widgets with the Thesis Widget Styles Plugin, it is useful to understand how padding and margin work. We begin here with an explanation of how they work and then go on to show how to use them in styling widgets (refer to video 1 of this series for the introduction on using this plugin). Understanding How Padding and Margin Work The best way to understand padding and margin is to think of 2 containers and some contents. You've got a parent container, a child container and contents. In this case, the parent container is represented by the outside line you see here. The Child container is the second line with the purple and Contents is this rose colored section. By default, the way the web works is that if there are no instructions to do otherwise, contents automatically expand to fill their container and those containers automatically expand to fill their containers. So in our example here, without any instructions at all rather than seeing 3 different layers, all you see here is the size of the contents because, as we just said, the contents automatically expand to fill the container which in this case is the child container. The child container is automatically expanded to fill the parent container and so the only thing that's really visible is the contents. Now we add in padding and margin. Margins move the child container away from its parent container. So if this is the child container and we add a margin, the child container moves away from the edges of its parent container. Conversely, padding moves the contents away from the edges of its container. So again, if you apply padding to the child container, it moves the contents inward or away from its edges. So in order to get this effect where the parent container is larger than the child container and the child container is larger than its contents, you add padding and margin to the child container. Child container moves its container away from its parent and padding moves its content away from its edge. If it helps you can think of margin as pressing outward and padding as pressing inward. Use Padding and Margin in a Thesis Widget So if we were to add margin to the overall widget, it would move the widget away from its container which, in this case, is the sidebar. If we add padding to the overall widget, it moves the contents of that overall widget away from its edges. And that's what we need to do in this case because right now the edge of our container is here and here and there and there. And we want to move the container's contents away from its edges. Let's return to the Thesis Widget Styles plugin and go to our Customization Options for style 1 which is applied to this widget. Select Customize Widget Padding and hit save. Now we've got options for adding overall padding. We can do this one of two ways. We can either style all of the sides the same or we can style them all differently or we can do a combination. For example, let's add 20 pixels here in the Widget Typical Heading Padding and then hit save. Go back to our page with the widget style and refresh it. You can see that the padding has pushed everything away from the edge. The reason the heading is pushed further away than 20 pixels is that the default heading settings have some margin at the top and the bottom. Let's review that in Firefox so you can see exactly what that looks like. This is our heading here. We'll inspect that element and we can see that the heading has this bright yellow above and below, which is where the padding is. So if you want the padding to be even on all sides, you would get rid of the top padding. It's actually not going to work exactly as described for another reason but I'm still going to show you it so you understand how it works. Go back to the Thesis Widget Styles plugin and to the Overall Padding. Put a zero in for the top padding. Now, the only thing left on top is the margin. Hit save and then return to our page and refresh this. You would have expected that margin to still show on top of the heading text but the problem is that when 2 margins meet each other vertically they collapse. And right now, the margin for the overall widget is specified as 0. The margin at the top of the column heading, about 20 pixels, and the margin at the top of the container, which is 0, meet and collapse down to 0. So the margin no longer pushes the container up. However, if we add 1 pixel of padding then the margin for the heading and the margin for the container are no longer touching each other and thus will not collapse.

Step 1) right click element, click inspect. This will bring up debugger. Step 2) hover over your element in debugger. This will highlight the padding and margin on the element. You may need to check up or down one or two element levels to see which elements has the padding you want to reset. Step 3) In the styles panel you can adjust the padding. Step 4) It turns out this was not padding, it was a margin.
