Adjusting to client requests and established brand packaging

00:13
There are situations when a client has established branding or such as a logo or preexisting packaging and it is not feasible to re brand. In such cases, diversity and flexibility is vital and the designer needs to be able to adjust by meshing the client's concept with the designer's own unique vision. In this case study, the established logo of Awakened Heart Productions, by way of what appears to be a rather rudimentary illustration that looks like a first grade art assignment, strategically suggests that they produce content for children. The client's objective to convey their expansion into digital 3D animated content required the melding of their 2D illustrated logo with 3D animation without changing the original form of their logo. There was no need to transform the logo into a 3D model because Awakened Heart Productions (AHP) decided it was important to maintain the illustrated look of the logo in order to reaffirm their continuing commitment to produce children's' content in the traditional formats. Although at first glance the two styles of graphics seem to clash, that is precisely the intended effect.

China For Beverage Brands: Challenges and Opportunities

02:04
Today, the market for fast-moving consumer goods in China looks less welcoming to outsiders than it did four years ago. 60 percent of foreign brands report declining market share and, challenged by the success of local players, The Coca-Cola Company and PepsiCo have seen their combined share of soft drink volume drop 4.6 percent since 2009. Yet, Chinese shoppers report the highest willingness among global consumers to purchase online in 18 of 22 product categories. In the Food & Beverage segment, purchase intent in China has jumped to 57 percent and to 34 percent in Alcoholic Drinks. Online spending in the Food & Drink segment is expected to more than triple by 2019, to roughly $35 billion dollars. Unique consumer behavior coupled with unfamiliar digital platforms complicates marketing investments in China. However there is opportunity for brands committed to understanding the digital ecosystem. New and established platforms are vying for position across Chinese cities. Since its launch in 2012, Tmall Supermarket has consolidated items carried by multiple merchants into a unified storefront, forcing a new approach to logistics. In May 2014, Amazon invested $20 million in online grocer Yummy77—the retail giant’s first investment in a Chinese company. In January 2015, Yihaodian announced it had reached nearly 90 million registered users and doubled product selection to more than eight million SKUs. Global Beverage brands will either prepare for these new modes of online disruption—or watch the opportunity in China shift to more agile local brands. This study attempts to quantify the digital competence of 66 beverage brands across eight categories in the Chinese market. A video review of Kickfurther. http://kickfurther.com/ --------------------------------------------------------------- 1. Logo looks great, but not really sure what it is. Also, when I first go to the site, I don't even see your name on the header. I think for a less established brand like Kickfurther, it's important to have that visible. 2. Not sure what PSR is on the homepage. Might be good to explain that. 3. A few minor spacing issues on the site. Check the video to see what I mean.

Product History: Kit Kat Chocolate

02:36
The Kit Kat and Kit Cat names were trademarked in 1911 by the Rowntree’s company based in York, United Kingdom. The first Kit Kat concept appeared in the 1920’s when Rowntree’s launched a brand of boxed chocolates named Kit Cat, which was discontinued in the 1930’s. The original 4 finger bar was developed after a worker at the Rowntree’s York factory put a suggestion in a suggestion box for a snack that “A man could take to work in his pack”. The 4 finger bar was launched on August 29th 1935 under the name “Rowntree’s Chocolate Crisp”. In 1937 the bar was renamed to Kit Kat chocolate crisp and began to incorporate “Break” into its advertising. In the 1940-50’s after its success in the UK, Kit Kat was exported to Canada, South Africa, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand. The Kit Kat became blue between 1944 and 1947. As a result of milk shortages after the end of WWII, the milk chocolate was suspended and a dark chocolate was used instead. In 1958 Donald Gills created the iconic advertising line “Have a Break, have a Kit Kat”. In the 1970’s Rowntree’s created a new factory in Germany to meet European demand and established agreements to distribute the brand in the USA and Japan. In June 1988 Nestle acquired Kit Kat through the purchase of Rowntree’s. The Kit Kat chunky was launched in 1999. Kit Kat is now manufactured in the US, Canada, UK, Germany, Bulgaria, Russia, Turkey, Dubai, South Africa, India, Malaysia, Japan and Australia. The main formats for Kit Kat are the 2-finger, 4-finger, Chunky and Pop Choc. Kit Kat is also sold in localised flavours around the world like Green tea and Wasabi in Japan. In the US Kit Kat is manufactured by Hershey’s under license from Nestle. This is the US packaging and logo and this is the European packaging and logo. The biggest single retail outlet for Kit Kat is Dubai airport duty-free. Around 1 tonne of Kit Kat is sold there every day. Thank you for watching and Have a break… have a kit kat.

Japan: Noritake Collection 2015

06:19
This video introduces u to worldly known Noritake (“No.ri.ta.ke”) collection. These are highly sought out collectors’ items; however, they are not cheap. This video shows u only a handful of Noritake art-works. Noritake is a tableware and technology company headquartered in Nagoya, Aichi-prefecture in Japan. The simplified version of the company’s history goes as follows (Sources of the information: Wikipedia): 1876 Mr. Ichizaemon Morimura VI and his younger brother, Toyo, founded “Morimura Gumi” (or Morimura Group) with the intent of establishing overseas trading by a J-company. 1878 Toyo had established a business in New York selling J-antiques and other goods, including pottery. 1881 The company was renamed as “Morimura Brothers.” In the 1890s Morimura Brothers had shifted from retail to wholesale operations and started working on design improvements for the pottery and porcelain ware, which had become one third of its business. 1899 All of the pottery and porcelain decorating factories in Tokyo and Kyoto had been consolidated in Nagoya, and the company started research on creating European style hard white porcelain in Japan. 1904 Key members of this trading company created the Nippon Toki Kaisha, Ltd. ("the Company that makes J's Finest China") in J. A new factory was built in Noritake, near Nagoya (As of May, 2015, the address is as follows: Noritake-shinmachi (= Noritake-new city), Nishi-ku (= West district), Nagoya, Aichi-prefecture, JAPAN. U can purchase Noritake via their company Web site. Note: As to eBay et al, u should be careful for they may not be “real Noritake.”) 1914 The company succeeded in creating their first Western style dinner set, called "Sedan", to compete with European porcelain companies. Nippon Toki wares were mostly aimed at the European Market. This forerunner of the modern Noritake Company was founded in the village of Noritake, a small suburb near Nagoya. Most of the company’s early wares carried one of the various “Nippon” back stamps to indicate its country of origin when exported to Western markets. Many collectors agree that the best examples of “Nippon-era” (1891~1921) hand painted porcelain carry a back stamp used by "Noritake" during the Nippon era. 1923 Nippon Toki was looking to streamline its paperwork using machines to handle large orders coming in from the U.S., and it was impressed by the Hollereth tabulating machines manufactured by the Computing Tabulating Recording Company (CTR). 1925 Morimura-Brothers entered into a sole agency agreement with CTR (which had been renamed IBM in 1924) to import the Hollerith machines into J. The first Hollerith tabulator in J was installed at Nippon Pottery in Sept. 1925, making Noritake an IBM customer #1 in J. 1939 Noritake started selling industrial grinding wheels based on its porcelain finishing technology. It now provides ceramic and diamond grinding and abrasive solutions for many industries. Other products currently manufactured by Noritake, also derived from its core tableware manufacturing technologies, include thick film circuit substrates, engineering ceramics, ceramic powder, and vacuum fluorescent displays, as well as heating furnaces and kilns, mixing technology, filtration systems, and cutting and grinding machines. Although consumers and collectors alike have called the tableware, "Noritake" (and/or simply, "Nippon") since the late 1920s, the J-parent company did not officially change its name to the Noritake Co., Limited until 1981. Evidently, since Noritake is the name of a place, the company was initially prohibited from registering the name as a trade name. 2015 The Noritake Garden in Nagoya features the production of its ceramics and crystal glassware. Today, they also produce dentures for globally people are aging fast and perhaps most of them desire to stay beautiful… ; ) Enjoy the video and many thanks for watching… ; D My videos are sort of related to each other, so enjoy others as well and please don’t forget to give a big thumbs up and/or comment if any. Cheers to u all,

20 Years an Esso Dealer 1950 Standard Oil of New Jersey; Esso-Exxon History

14:11
more at http://scitech.quickfound.net/geology_news_and_links.html Tells the story of Standard Oil of New Jersey and the Esso brand name from a gas station owner's point of view. Public domain film from the Prelinger Archives, slightly cropped to remove uneven edges, with the aspect ratio corrected, and mild video noise reduction applied. The soundtrack was also processed with volume normalization, noise reduction, clipping reduction, and/or equalization (the resulting sound, though not perfect, is far less noisy than the original). http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/3.0/ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Esso Esso is an international trade name for ExxonMobil and its related companies. The name is a phonetic version of the initials of the pre-1911 Standard Oil (SO = Esso), and as such became the focus of much litigation and regulatory restriction in the United States. In 1972 it was largely replaced in the U.S. by the Exxon brand after it bought Humble Oil, while Esso remained widely used elsewhere. In most of the world, the Esso brand and the Mobil brand are the primary brand names of ExxonMobil, with the Exxon brand name still in use only in the United States alongside Mobil... In 1911, Standard Oil was broken up into 34 companies, some of which were named "Standard Oil" and had the rights to that brand in certain states (the other companies had no territorial rights). Standard Oil of New Jersey ("Jersey Standard") had the rights in that state, plus in Maryland, West Virginia, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, and the District of Columbia. By 1941, it had also acquired the rights in Pennsylvania, Delaware, Arkansas, Tennessee, and Louisiana. In those states, it marketed its products under the brand "Esso", the phonetic pronunciation of the letters "S" and "O". It also used the Esso brand in New York and the six New England states, where the Standard Oil Company of New York (Socony - Vacuum, later Socony - Mobil) had the rights, but did not object to the New Jersey company's use of the trademark[citation needed] (the two companies did not merge until November 1999). However, in the other states, the other Standard Oil companies objected and forced Jersey Standard to use other brand names. In most states the company used the trademark Enco ("Energy Company"), and in a few "Humble". The other Standard companies likewise were "Standard" or some variant on that in their home states, and another brand name in other states. Esso ranked 31st among United States corporations in the value of World War II production contracts... In 1973, Standard Oil of New Jersey renamed itself as the Exxon Corporation, and adopted that trademark throughout the country. It maintained the rights to "Standard" and "Esso" in the states where it held those rights, by a token effort, by selling "Esso Diesel" in those states at stations that sell diesel fuel, thus preventing the trademark from being declared abandoned. It retained the "Esso" brand in Puerto Rico and the United States Virgin Islands until 2008, when it sold its stations there to Total S.A.[4] The Enco brand name was still used on locations in the Midwest until 1977 when they were sold to Cheker Oil Co. (now part of Marathon Petroleum subsidiary Speedway LLC); Exxon continues to have a presence in Southern Ohio today (as it does throughout much of Appalachia in general), though Mobil is the company's primary brand in the Midwest... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Standard_Oil Standard Oil Co. Inc. was an American oil producing, transporting, refining, and marketing company. Established in 1870 as a corporation in Ohio, it was the largest oil refiner in the world. Its controversial history as one of the world's first and largest multinational corporations ended in 1911, when the United States Supreme Court ruled that Standard was an illegal monopoly. Standard Oil dominated the oil products market initially through horizontal integration in the refining sector, then, in later years vertical integration; the company was an innovator in the development of the business trust. The Standard Oil trust streamlined production and logistics, lowered costs, and undercut competitors. "Trust-busting" critics accused Standard Oil of using aggressive pricing to destroy competitors and form a monopoly that threatened consumers. John D. Rockefeller was a founder, chairman and major shareholder. With the dissolution of the Standard Oil trust into 33 smaller companies, Rockefeller became the richest man in the world. Other notable Standard Oil principals include Henry Flagler, developer of the Florida East Coast Railway and resort cities, and Henry H. Rogers, who built the Virginian Railway...

This design, emblazoned with the Polo logo, became the brand’s signature look. Lauren subsequently broadened his brand to include a luxury clothing line called Ralph Lauren Purple, a home-furnishing collection called Ralph Lauren Home, and a collection of fragrances. Polo currently produces clothing for men, women and children. Lauren has also designed Olympic uniforms for Team USA. Polo expanded rapidly in the 1980s and 1990s, opening boutiques across the United States and abroad. In 1984, Lauren opened the flagship store in New York’s Rhinelander Mansion. The company went public on June 11, 1997, traded under the symbol RL. The success of Polo has earned Lauren a personal fortune estimated at $6.5 billion. This figure, if accurate, would make Lauren the 122nd richest person in the world. Personal Life Lauren married receptionist Ricky Anne Low-Beer in New York City in 1964. He successfully concealed the fact that Ricky was only half Jewish from his parents before the wedding. The Laurens are the parents of three children: Andrew, David and Dylan. David Lauren is the only one of the three to have made his career at Polo. In 2011 he married Lauren Bush, the niece of former President George W. Bush and the granddaughter of former President George H.W. Bush. Andrew Lauren is a film producer, while Dylan Lauren is the owner of the New York City candy store Dylan’s Candy Bar. Lauren underwent surgery in the mid-1980s to remove a benign tumor from his brain. Using his considerable fortune, Lauren has amassed a famous collection of rare automobiles. He has between 50 and 100 cars, including a 1930 Mercedes-Benz Count Trossi SSK known as "The Black Prince." In 2005, Lauren allowed his collection to be displayed at the Boston Museum of Fine Arts. In 2011, a selection from his car collection was exhibited in Paris

Life in the 13 Colonies Explained

06:42
Mr. Beat's band: http://electricneedleroom.net/ Mr. Beat on Twitter: https://twitter.com/beatmastermatt Here's the story of how life was like in the 13 British American colonies. Music by Electric Needle Room. All images found in the public domain or by Matt Beat. Once upon a time, there were 13 British colonies along the east coast of North America. Today we classify these colonies into three groups: 1) The New England Colonies 2)The Middle Colonies and 3) The Southern Colonies All the colonies had a lot of self-government and most white men could vote, as long as they had property. All of the colonies were prosperous grew quickly. In 1625, the population of the colonies, not including Native Americans, was around 2,000. By 1775, that number had swollen to 2 and a half million, and this group in 1775 didn’t have nearly as much in common with or as much loyalty to their European ancestors. Yep, these American colonies had developed a brand new, very distinct, society, and soon they would be leaving their European ancestors behind. The New England colonies were generally more religious, and though its settlers came to America to practice their religion freely, they, ironically, did not tolerate any other religion other than their own. Massachusetts was made up of Puritans, but some Puritans didn’t think the Puritans in Massachusetts were devout enough, so they left and started the colonies of Connecticut and New Haven. Meanwhile, Puritans like Anne Hutchinson and Roger Williams, who thought the Puritans in Massachusetts were too restrictive, left (well, they were kicked out) to form the colony of Rhode Island. Rhode Island actually had the freedom of religion and a radical idea of separating church and state. In New England towns along the coast, the colonists made their living fishing, whaling, and shipbuilding. Because farming was difficult, New England began to develop manufacturing with industries like shipbuilding to make money. Being furthest north, the New England colonies were the coldest, but because of this there was less disease than in the warmer colonies further south. The Middle Colonies were the most diverse by far of the colonies. Different ethnic groups like the English, Swedes, Dutch, Germans, Scots-Irish and French lived closer together here than they ever did in Europe. There were also many different religions, most Christian denominations, such as Quakers. With many religions came religious freedom, especially in Pennsylvania, the Quaker colony established by William Penn that had a constitution that protected many freedoms and would later influence the United States Constitution. Economically, the middle colonies served as important shipping off point for valuable stuff to send back to Europe. Cities here, like New York and Philadelphia, grew quickly. Being in the middle (I know, such an original name, right?) put these colonies in the middle of everything, really. Ideas, society, culture, the economy, you name it. They also had much more fertile soil than the North. Farming The Southern Colonies, which also had very fertile soil, were all about the cash crops- mostly tobacco, but also rice, cotton, and indigo. Here, large plantations sprung up that required a large labor force. To fill this labor force, plantations often brought in both slaves and indentured servants to take care of the work. Slavery became an important part of the economy in the South. Being furthest south, the winters were more mild, but the hot and humid summers caused more diseases like malaria and yellow fever to spread easily. Life expectancy was lowest in the southern colonies. There was also more religious tolerance in the southern colonies, even in Maryland, which was originally established for Roman Catholics. Georgia was the southernmost colony and the last of the colonies established. James Oglethorpe had the idea to relocate thousands of prisoners from England who were there because they couldn’t pay back their debts to Georgia to start a new life, and King George II went along with it because the colony could be a buffer between Spanish Florida and the rich plantations of South Carolina. Plus, it was named after him. Overall, the 13 colonies were extremely diverse, almost like 13 little countries. However, they all had a lot in common. They had similar political, constitutional, and legal systems, and most of them were WASPs. No, not those wasps. WASP- it stands for white Anglo-Saxon Protestants. Most colonial families were self reliant. Also, this might surprise you, all of colonies had legal slavery was big. They produced lots of wheat and corn, and raised lots of livestock. Other industries here included the production of iron ore, lumber, textiles, furs and shipbuilding.

Webcast "Using counter-biosimilar messaging to protect your brand"

26:55
Biosimilars are an inevitable force in pharma. The introduction of biosimilars may be a major threat to the branded product. One of the challenges for biologics at the end of their patent protection is how to communicate the tangible and/or emotional benefits of the branded product in the face of assumed (and real) price differences with biosimilars. In today’s pharmaceutical industry, this communication has become a more and more important part of brand’s strategy to defend the competition from biosimilars. Even a delay of a few months for the uptake of biosimilar could have significant financial impact. For well-established brands, it also represents an opportunity to leverage brand equity to communicate to key stakeholders including physicians, patients and key influencers such as nurses and physician assistants. Alex, Nicole, and Mike will utilize a case study to illustrate how we address this challenge to help brands develop counter-biosimilar messaging strategies. Find out more at http://skimgroup.com/webinar-counter-biosimilar-messaging.

Why most women skip becoming CEO's? | Revital Hendler | TEDxJerusalemWomen

13:33
Revital Hendler founded her first startup company at the age of 29. At the age of 33 she sold substantial shares of it to an international company at a little under 18.5M USD. She served as its CEO for over 7 years. During those years, she admits she couldn't wait to have enough money to hire a pro-CEO to run the company so she could step aside. Why? Because she was taught that her female traits (too nice, too sensitive and too motherly..) just don’t belong in business. She proved them all wrong. Serial social-tech entrepreneur. In 2005 Revital founded AllJobs, disruptive startup for job-searches. A year and a half later AllJobs was the leading brand in the field and in less than 3 years part of it was sold for $18 million. Revital was the CEO of AllJobs in the first 7 years; she established unique business models in the field (both B2C and B2B) and managed more than 250 employees. In 2011 she co-founded WorkWith.me, a revolutionary social recruiting network that enabled job seekers and employers meet through friends’ recommendations based on the “wisdom of the crowds”. In 2013, she co-founded BreezoMeter, real time air pollution mapping platform, that was announced the most promising startup in 2014 in the world by GEW (The global entrepreneurship world). Today, Revital is a partner and a manager of an accelerator program for startups that tackle social issues with technology – TechForGood Rally. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at http://ted.com/tedx

5 Tips That Can Increase Your Wholesale Clothing Sales By Becoming A Fashion Expert

02:36
http://www.closeoutexplosion.com is a wholesale closeout business in New York. http://www.wholesalequest.com provides information on wholesale brand name designer handbags. http://www.closeoutexplosion.com can help you sell more wholesale clothing by showing the benefits of becoming a fashion expert. You can maximize your wholesale sales by becoming a fashion expert. It might initially sound daunting to become an expert in the latest fashion trends but there are shortcuts you can easily implement. Remember, you can potentially increase your sales by up to 1,000% by increasing your knowledge of the fashion world. If you want customers to shop by you, you need to have what they want. You don't need to be ready to conquer the New York Fashion District, or the fashion houses of Milan, you just need to ensure that you know the fashion tastes of the customers that you serve. Tip #1 Open up a fashion magazine, cut out pictures and ads that reflect your typical customer, and then start stocking up on similar clothing from your wholesale supplier. Tip #2 Once you have filled your shop or warehouse with the clothing that is in fashion, show your customers the magazine clippings you have saved so that they can see that your clothing and footwear is what is in fashion now. Tip #3 Ask your customers what styles they like, and then start looking for those styles. Why should you have to reinvent the wheel when you can simply find out directly from your customers what they like? Tip #4 Host a fashion show on the premises of your business. You can invite local up and coming designers and established brands to showcase their fashions on your premises. This way you can explore the latest fashions and gage the reaction of your shoppers to those fashions. Tip #5 Personally visit the places where your customers can be found and see what they are wearing. If you cater to professional women then you need to go to the business district and see what they are wearing. I know these tips might sound simple, but often there is genius in simplicity. The more you can learn about the fashion tastes of your clients the more you can grow your business. http://www.greenpointbrooklynrealestate.com Watch My Videos On The Wholesale And Closeout Business: http://www.wholesalecloseoutuniversity.com Discover The New York Wholesale Market: http://www.wholesaleinnewyork.com Wholesale Closeout Insider Strategies http://www.closeoutsystem.com Watch My Videos On The Wholesale And Closeout Business: http://www.wholesalecloseoutuniversity.com Discover The New York Wholesale Market: http://www.wholesaleinnewyork.com Wholesale Closeout Insider Strategies http://www.closeoutsystem.com . Brand/name recognition factor alone isn't enough either, though it'll help with it's initial launch, but beyond that, in my opinion, regardless of brand/name recognition, there are certain factors (ie. for comics, including cover, story, art and hype), that are very important for a product have in order to GRAB the consumer right off the bat on multiple levels (ie. impulse, point of purchase buys, with just 1 issue), to ensure they will continue to support and invest in it long term. --------------------------------------------------------- DISCLAIMER My knee-jerk views are what they are, my own views, specific to who I am, but they don’t necessarily reflect how I really feel about anything given the chance to gather my thoughts. Can I trust myself to say, or do things, when I confuse myself sometimes? It’s a risk, but I do take responsibility for putting it out there, and try not to be irresponsible, in order to provide something raw. I’m a philosopher and devils advocate at heart. I really do feel I can see the both sides of everything, even though expressing them through language/words sometimes is a struggle as I feel, I’ve been losing my grasp of vocabulary, and ability to focus overtime. I’ve always been more of a feeler; how I remember things, and in decision making (which is a whole other struggle). Language/words have always seemed limiting to me. As with anyone else, my views, can and do, change with time, additional exposure/experience, and the influence of others.

Email Marketing: 5 Tips for Writing an Effective Email Newsletter

03:58
Want people to open your e-newsletters? Wix.com offers tips, and techniques on how to do exactly that. Learn best practices for creating and sending out newsletters that your clients will love to read. Creating an engaged customer base is hard to do. And it starts with creating a successful newsletter. Even though social media is important, email is often overlooked. Learn how to best leverage your email marketing. Learn more at http://www.wixeducation.com Transcript: Newsletters offer a simple and affordable way to communicate with your network and strengthen your brand. In order to write great newsletters, you need to start with the end in mind. That means, you need to know what it is you want your readers to DO when they read your newsletter. This is your call to action and every newsletter needs one. Examples of a call to action can be to: · Use a coupon code · RSVP to an upcoming event · visit your website to read about new products Once you’ve established your call for action, try to think about how you can lead readers to it without sounding too pushy. Next step - The Subject Line Like you, your subscribers likely scan their email inbox looking to clean it out and delete unwanted mails. Don’t give them an excuse to delete your newsletter! When writing your subject line, use these rules of thumb: · People are more likely to open emails with a timely or enticing premise in the title. · Good subject lines are attention-grabbing and thought-provoking. “Our August Newsletter” won’t do the trick. · Your subject line should be between 5 and 7 words long · Don’t use all capital letters and be wary of using exclamation points. They can make your email look like spam and many email services will block it. What’s the best practice? Before you hit send, read the subject line to yourself and decide - would I open this email? Next, choose great images for your newsletter. They should be relevant to your business, interesting or beautiful to look at. (Or you can just use kittens or babies.) Pictures are a great way to catch your readers’ attention and encourage them to keep reading. When coupled with a catchy title, they can go a long way in increasing open rates. What’s the best practice? - Use compelling, original images in high resolution. Or kittens. Content is key to achieving your goal! Not sure how to produce good content? Here are a few tips: · Make sure your newsletters share either timely, educational or valuable content. Don’t write fluff just to fill the page. · Break your newsletter up into short paragraphs with headers. Long paragraphs can cause readers’ eyes to quickly glaze over. Get to the point. Write only as much as you need to get the message across. · Keep jargon out. Don’t try to show off; it’s not a term paper. Use a casual, but professional tone. Be friendly and informative. What’s the best practice? Fill your emails with interesting and relevant articles, tips, links to great websites or inspirational ideas. Vary the content in each of your newsletters to keep them fresh. Write content worth reading. Finally, when sending out your newsletter, remember to think about timing and frequency. Don’t exhaust your subscribers with constant emails. They’ll unsubscribe. On the other hand, if you promised a monthly newsletter chock full of tips or coupons, keep your promise and stick to a regular schedule. Send out newsletters in the morning, ideally on a work day. That way, they have the best chance of being read. Emails sent on Friday afternoon can easily get buried in your subscribers’ inboxes over the weekend. What’s the best practice? Send out your newsletter once a month or once a season on a Monday or Tuesday morning. Ready to get started?
