Leaving Family Behind
Religious families can be among the hardest things for the Christian to deal with , because they feel complacent in their relationship with God, “Because you say, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and know not that you are wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked: " Revelation 3 God is making a final call to our unbelieving families to come to Him, before the Church is raptured. This move, which has cut us off from my family has produced a joyous release, through a somewhat painful process. John 8:36 " if the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed." Matthew 10 “ 34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword. 35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law. 36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.” Stop arguing with them and shake the dust off of your feet. Know Jesus, The Lord of the Sabbath
Salvation is the free gift of God. Jesus won it for us by His death. If we try to earn it by our good works, or church membership, or just by being a "good person", we nullify the gift of God and reject the Holy Spirit. Salvation comes from knowing Christ and accepting His free gift. My burden before the Lord is to free the captives; those caught in the chains of religion as I was. God is not finished with me yet, and there is likely still some religious residue lurking around, but God's promise is that His word will accomplish the purpose that He sent it for. As demonstrated here, my gift from God is not speaking, but writing. Please come see more of the things I have learned from the Lord as He has led and refined us at a-new-name.com.

Wag your tail for God
We have been overwhelmingly blessed to be included as members of the Body of Christ in His Church. As a part of the Church Age dispensation, we have become the trophy; the prize that God will point to throughout eternity to demonstrate the depth of His love, faithfulness, goodness, forgiveness, and generosity. For a far superior explanation of the various dispensations and just how amazingly fortunate we are, look at an article by my brother Greg Lauer at "A Little Strength" found here: http://www.alittlestrength.com/articles/2017/1706-chance.htm God has also given me a gift to write, though I am His crayon, struggling to stay in the lines as I scrawl His messages. Are you naked?
A good brother of ours, Greg Lauer wrote an article in March of 2013 called "Why I hate religion". It artfully describes just how pernicious religion is and how it malignantly keeps people from coming to God. That article, which I highly recommend can be found here: http://www.alittlestrength.com/articles/2013/1303-hate-religion.htm At the very foot of Mount Sinai, after hearing the voice of the living God, the Israelites pressured Moses' brother Aaron to make them a golden calf, of which they declared, 'This is the God that has brought us out of Egypt'. Religion is deadly in that it effectively keeps you from God. In Revelation 3, the Lord told the Church of Laodicea that, though they thought they had everything, that they were really wretched, miserable, poor, blind and naked. Have you lazily accepted a religion that you were born into, or signed up for one that is merely a God-substitute? If you are required to do anything more or less than Paul describes in Romans 10:9-13, you are probably being duped. ARE YOU NAKED? Adventist...left behind? It's not too late!
If you were reared as an Adventist, there is much essential teaching which you did not get which will clear up the entire Bible picture. God dealt first with Israel, the apple of His eye. When they rejected the Lord, He put them aside for a season, during the Church Age. During the coming Tribulation, in Daniel's 70th week; the time of Jacob's trouble, they are to be redeemed to God and every promise He ever made to Israel kept. The Church did not replace Israel. Our role and purpose before God is different and separate from them. They will live in the land He promised to Abraham with Jesus sitting of the throne of David. If the internet is still functioning, you have a lot of catching up to do and I highly recommend a website called "A little strength" with a number of expository messages by Greg Lauer, here: http://www.alittlestrength.com/index.htm You CAN still be saved if you missed the Rapture, though the number of Gentiles thus saved may be negligible. If it hasn't occurred yet, abandon any road to Christ except salvation through His blood. It could not be simpler than declaring with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believing in your heart that God raised him from the dead. Don't wait until the last moment. The Rapture marks the point in God's plan known as "the fullness of the Gentiles". God will have given every Gentile on earth the opportunity to make the choice for salvation. The pattern demonstrated in scripture is that once a person or nation has rejected God, His judgements on them move them to harden their hearts, not repentance. Add to that the "strong delusion" which God will send to seal their judgement, and you begin to see that the Rapture signals the end of the Age of Grace. Believers should feel an urgency to share the Good News of salvation, and the unsaved should realize that the door is about to close. To learn more, come check out the messages at a-new-name.com.
