WasteRight Sacramento - Commerical Food Waste Recycling
WasteRight Sacramento is a new program to recycle commercial food waste, keeping it out of landfills and reducing greenhouse gas emissions. We already have local businesses owners like Patrick Mulvaney who are recycling their food waste, and they feel really good about their contribution to our community. Customers and employees appreciate this effort. The law applies to commercial food providers - like restaurants, schools and hospitals - producing more than 4 cubic yards of food waste each week. Food waste includes uneaten food, fruit & vegetables, coffee grounds and landscape or pruning waste. All you have to do is call your waste service provider to set up an appointment and sign up for the program. They will help you through the process. www.WasteRightSac.com
