If you train a muscle too hard and too much you'll over train and not see results. Likewise if you don't train a muscle enough or hard enough you'll undertrain and won't see results. If you do short workout that's aren't super intense, like under 10 minutes, you can do that everyday. If your workouts are longer 30-45min at moderate intensity you can do that 3x per week. If your workouts are really hard and your using heavier weights then 2x per week may be all your body can handle. For your leg and butt workouts at home its important to use weights in order to better build your butt. On our website: http://www.30daybutttransformation.com we go over a 30 day Home Workout plan incorporating ankle weights and a weight vest. (We also have a beginner plan that only uses your own body weight). When you're a beginner its ok to just use your body weight. Butt as you get more advanced you'll want to add weight. Ankle weights are a great place to start. Vicky's uses 20lbs per leg, they cost around $25. A weight vest is another good idea (20lbs).

Heres a great home workout for your legs and butt using two different types of Lunges. Start off doing 50 Stepping Back Lunges. Then rest a 1-2 min and do 30 curtsy lunges each leg. Each workout increase the stepping back lunges by 10 reps and the Curtsy by 5 each side. Take as long as you need to complete the workout. This workout should be done 4-6x per week for no more then a month.
