I was called out in the early morning to come and catch this Siamese Spitting Cobra (Naja siamenis) in someones yard. The home owner stayed with the snake till I arrived and made sure he doesn't loose sight of it. This made for a very quick and easy capture. Siamese Spitting Cobras are the most common cobra species in our area, and one of the most frequently encountered venomous snakes. They have a potent venom that has both cytotoxic and neurotoxic properties. Large Siamese Spitting Cobra (Naja siamensis) I caught and relocated yesterday. The people who called me had managed to throw a blanket over the snake and hold it down with a broom till I arrived, making it a quick and easy capture. Before releasing her, I removed some ticks from the hood :)

White Lipped Pit Viper (Trimeresurus albolabris) found while night herping. Although venomous, they won’t bite unless you give them a reason to. *I don’t recommend anyone to try this at home*

Red-necked Keelbacks (Rhabdophis subminiatus) are one of the few snakes that are venomous, but also poisonous. They absorb toxins from their diet which consists of toads, as well as frogs and other small animals.

Picking up a King Cobra from a snake farm to be used in an educational talk for a school. None of the snakes at this facility are de-fanged or venomoid. They all still have their fangs and venom. The video of the presentation and release of the snake will be uploaded soon! Check out Jacks' Channel! He has videos from the trim too coming soon! https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCe6SnKV6q5d_OXZHVVi8onQ

Red Necked Keelback (Rhabdophis subminiature) flaring up it's neck to expose it's bright red color. This is one of the few snakes that is actually venomous and poisonous. The view is venomous, and the poison is absorbed from it's diet of native toads and stored in it's neck. Their venom is very potent but they're rear fanged so they have to really chew on you for a while to envenomate you.

While driving back to our hotel, we came across a Pipe Snake (Cylindrophis jodiae - previously C. ruffus) trying to kill and eat a Sunbeam Snake (Xenopeltis unicolor). We stayed there till they were done to make sure they dont get run over, since they were on the road.
